I just don't like it. I did try it a long time ago but it just wasn't my thing. I also tried Grid but didn't like that either.

My screen isn't that big so I really can't have a lot of stuff on it. Some of the UIs I've seen have stuff everywhere and you can't even see the game. I don't show raid frames for this reason, though as a DPS I really don't need them. Ideally I would have a desktop with a huge monitor but seeing as I don't have anywhere to put a desk, I really have no use for a desktop.

The main points of elv and tuk ui are to give you more screen space, more area around your character so you have more visibility and stand in fire less. It centers your eyes and keeps the important things like health comfortably in your peripherals so that your eyes naturally draw to them and you don't have to look from one corner of the screen to the other.

That's at 2560x1600 but it looks great on my laptop at 1080p as well with no editing. Raid frames are far away on my tank but nice and close for healing toons I never play.

See I just don't like having all that stuff in the middle. Just a personal preference. Plus it's not like I'm doing high end raiding or anything.

Also that font is terrible. I'm sure like most, it can be changed, but that one is just awful.

Font is great at high res, it looks horrible at 1080p all shrunk down I agree. Forgot that I took that on laptop. And yeah, easily changeable. I haven't fully screwed with the UI for 1080p yet for the laptop since I literally just copied it over for a raid one night at my girlfriends, so the scaling is going to be off.

ElvUI is just so clean and clutter free. The Blizzard action bars drive me nuts. I hate seeing them.

Damage font i'm assuming? I like it as it looks less pixelated than the other options. I tend to change it out a lot though.

Not really an accomplishment, but I recently discovered scenarios and it's helping me get over my fear of queueing for things in this game. I've always been nervous about queueing for group content because people are dicks but scenarios are easing that.

Baby steps, lol. Plus they're an easy way to cap Valor.

Dungeons and scenarios people just blow through and don't say a word to each other in. LFR is the only one it sucks to be apart of.

Dungeons can also suck since there's this built in expectation that you blow through it silently with everybody else. If you need a few seconds because it's your first time tanking, healing or you just plain need a second away from the keyboard, you're fucked because nobody reads instance chat, and then you get blamed for being the slow guy.
Scenarios are fine. Unless you get A Little Patience or Battle of Theramore, because fuck those scenarios.

A Little Patience is okay but it does take forever to get the defenses set up.

Haven't done Theramore yet.

I'm assuming Heroics are pretty faceroll at this point, basically don't stand in the bad, etc.?

Picked up the ethereal soul trader pet today for 38k

Was running away laughing when the guys on trade chat said it was very cheap but no one could afford it. I snapped it right up.

According to http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/World-of-W...-/251245280278 it's £164 currently but that's the loot code/card itself.

I wonder if I could sell it on eBay lol (sell card and personally make a char on their server to hand them the pet cage)
