I had been doing the daily for 50 VP for a while (and will continue to do it, just not really on the rep mobs), I knew it would happen eventually but I got into a good rep group and ground out about 5k.

If it weren't for the VP I would avoid TI on my main from now on. And I could just do two additional scenarios a day to make up for it but meh. Plus, I still want the mount from stingy Huolon.

Got to Level 90 on my Paladin from 85 thanks to Correction for telling me I can go kill worms on the timeless isle

It was expected to be boring, but between each pull meaning life and death and rare mobs turning up, it kept me rather entertained as I slowly chugged through it.

Now I'm just loading myself up with gear so i can clear all heroic dungeons, then go buy my challenge run for the armor

Hopefully there are no more challenge modes in the future with even more armor lol

edit: but between all the sets, DK and PLD were the only sets I ever wanted since release -- DK as it's main, and PLD because it defines the very PLD "image" in my head, and it looks like one of the enemies from devil may cry 4

With this challenge set I'm gonna get by end of this or next week, I can glow even more! My very idea of a paladin! lol. It would be ideal of my DK could wear it instead, to mimic the fallen angel look somewhat which is perfect, lore wise.

Personally I don't really like most of the newer gear sets, I think they pale in quality to Vanilla and BC sets. Sometimes the new stuff is like "look at all this stuff we can put on here!" and then it just looks like a jumbled mess.

Everyone has their tastes though, which is why I'm so glad transmog exists.

Given the age of the game transmog is indeed one of the best features.

In FFXIV currently it's quite ass. There's choice but not -that- much choice.... yet.

This can't be serious! There are no good looking armor sets pre Wrath. Everything looked like a mish mosh of brightly colored clown gear.

BC Dungeon sets are some of my favorites in the game. Obviously taste is subjective, but this http://www.wowhead.com/transmog-set=874
is a lot better looking than http://www.wowhead.com/transmog-set=1485

Now maybe people like the second set I linked, but I really don't like how progressively busier gear sets have gotten over time - sometimes simpler is better.

Ahhh but to each their own I guess. I understand why some like the old style, it seems to be a mixed bag of reason which is probably an inverse of mine:

1. The "WoW" feel (clown gear look?)
2. Nostalgia
3. Some of the new gear do seem fugly (fuck you DK tier 17/PvP WoD sets) and older sets are preferable (love youuuuuu DK T10)

Really I will add that ICC sets for pretty much any class are amazing.
