lol, my ret Paladin (outside of CM) is ilvl 500 and I can only burst 70k with a PvP 522 weapon lol (no pots or anything though, and rarely any gems/enchants either, as this is just temporary gear). This was why I was wondering how 100k when scaled down is even possible

It's just really mind boggling. Even at the start of MoP raid I'd notice 100k DPS for people in 476~496, which is unscaled, which is "normal"

Made the switch to Unholy a few days ago and love it so far. I typically hate having to use pets but the rotation and snap dotting is so much more fun than the 2-button rotation on Frost.

Of course it also called for a new transmog.

The reason why I love Destruction so much because playing Affliction for most of MoP has really made me sick of snap shotting DoTs haha. I'm so fucking glad they're getting rid of it for WoD.

Grats, I have been stuck on winning the competition for Salty for a very very long time (did the rest of the achievements pre-mop boredness) It's still heavily camped for the heirloom ring and achievement, no thanks lol.

Grats, I still remember getting that on a fluke when the tournament started for some reason 4 hrs earlier then it should have. I was in STV and just happened to notice the fishing pools and won without any contest haha. Got it for my friend 4hrs later because I flagged myself and stood on the turn in NPC resulting in 2 alliance attacking me and dying to guards as my friend swooped in for the achievement.

So I've finally gotten around to challenge modes lol. I did em on my war last week, and finally finished up DK this week (had 3 golds and a few silver from the first couple weeks of expansion, and then literally never went back until now lol).

Not that impressed with war set, but I gotta admit DK looks even better than I thought it would.

I wouldn't say it's terrible it's just like...

You look at the DK set, and it's like "Ok, now *that's* a DK."

You look at the mage set, and it's like "Ok, now *that's* a wizard i mean mage."

But then you look at war and it's just like... "Yeap, that's what plate armor in WoW looks like."

I mean, it looks nice enough, it's just not nearly so... i dunno... "class-definitive"? as a lot of the others.

I agree, WAR is extremely meh. If anything, the Tier 16 set > CM set

I got PLD and DK only. As Plow says, yup *that's* a DK
For PLD, it really stresses on the "divine retributor" look.

I kinda wanna do CMs just for the achievements and not the gear, but I don't want to pay for a carry. Not that I'm so terribad that I'd need carried because I hold my own just fine in Scenarios, but just that I still don't feel comfortable joining groups for things. Especially since I haven't even done the Heroics from this expansion yet.

Farmed old raids, pet battles, scenarios, world bosses, reputation grinds, farmed transmogs, geared up on Timeless Isle, collected items from TI, collected mounts, farmed old heroic for achievements, and leveled alts. Many alts.

Normally "PvPed" would be on this list, but PvP this expansion has sucked because of the overabundance of CC so I've avoided it. I hope to return to it in Warlords.

Hardly, lol. I was amazed at how bad some people are at the simplest shit. I've found a lot of fresh 90s in there with like 305k health and I know I'm going to have to spend extra time tossing out Prayer of Mending and Renew to keep these fucks up instead of DPSing. People following me around like in the Unga Ingoo one when they should be getting their own barrels of brew ... just really dumb shit. They're not hard but some people make them that way.

That's basically the main reason I don't want to queue for heroics. I should have done it sooner, but at this point in the xpac, the only people doing them are probably the boosted 90s who don't know their class or the uberbads. I went from not wanting to do them because I thought I'd be the bad one to not wanting to do them because others are fucking shit at this game.

Normals are a lot worse than heroics. Heroics are over in less than 5 min since you don't even need a tank for them and most tanks swap to dps.
