For people who do 10's:

How hard was the transition in difficulty from 2d to 3d Sarth? We've been downing 2d for a few weeks now with a different raid setup almost every time, and never with a shaman. What should we be expecting when we move to 3d in the next week or two?

And no, we'll probably not have Bloodlust.

it's such a ridiculous jump in difficulty. You absolutely have to have the first drake down before the second batch of whelps hit, and the second pretty much has to be dead right around the third hits. and mana is definently an issue if your healers are just slightly undergeared. Our guild runs a two healer strat, paladin focusing only on the tank, and druid handling all the raid healing.

Hit 67, did crypts and stuff, got more gear etc!

I can't do feral gulk coz I am the healer in my static I have a PLD who tanks mobs AOE that are higher than us, also a WAR doing AOEs, and I just dump cures on them both.

But yes we started questing much more and my goodness the exp (and gold) flows. I am now up to 833 gold which is funny since 3 days ago I found 2 gold too expensive to buy some reagents for my spells

How long has this taken you? 2 weeks? Nice.

The 3d reward text is ambiguous, just says an additional 213/226 item...is it the same list of items from 2d?

It's additional gear from the higher level gear items and a mount.

1 item + 1 tiered token for 0 drake, add a second i level 200 item for 1 drake up, two drakes you add an additonal 213 item to the loot table, and 3 drakes up you add 1 mount as well as get the Of The Nightfall title and bragging rights for beating the hardest encounter in the game at this moment.

Downed 25man Malygos on Friday, no drops though.

Got Fury of the Five Flights on my DK, as well as T7 gloves. DPS'd 25 man, Tanked 10 man, got the Gonna go when the Volcano blows achievement while tanking. I was stoked.

Now have a moonkin set with 1850 SP (feral specced), capped hit using food, 389 haste, 21.28% crit (again in feral, not counting 4pc), and it will rarely get used, probably never after the feral buffs.

Now if I just saw more than 1 melee DPS ring drop from Naxx in 3 clears...

Chestguard of the recluse tonight, chikka yeah. have to break my 4-set for it but I'm next in line for valorous bonescythe helm so it's all good. just waiting on stalk-skin belt and fury of the five flights, maybe surge needle ring, and im pretty set with my gear. just need to pick up a webbed death and im gold as a goose for mut. will work on offspec for fist and sword later. here's my current gear: The World of Warcraft Armory

armory hasnt updated chest obviously but yeah. maybe those throwing knives from naxx, too...idk, im not too far off from an ideal setup (save darkmoon card greatness obviously)

once you know where everything is and quests.. you can do Lv 1-> 80 though in 2 weeks without recruit a friend bonus or pretty close!

I'm at 2 weeks 2 days played from lv1 druid (most lvling done at 100% exp) Lv79 now, was hoping to be 80 tonight except icecrown is lagging like crazy on my server for some reason

I am in the same boat. Got a Tunic of Indulgence but can't equip till i get some t7.5 shoulders. 19more badges or lucky roll wednesday when we pug 25man naxx. You have the pieces I need and I have what you need, except i'm in a casual 10man and only pug 25's. I've got the ring, and belt, also need the fury, you've got the sinister revenge I've got the webbed death lol.

its a stupidly over-tuned fight for 10mans. I dunno how anyone could do this without stepping foot into a 25man encounter. But yes its very hard. The 3rd drake is by far the hardest part of the fight which you're currently missing out on. We did it twice for the achievement and are never doing it again so annoying.

Like I said, we pug 25man naxx do it takes a bit of effort to get anything. We make up half the raid so it works in my favor, can make sure I'm the only rogue and such.

Wouldn't you know that not a single rogue weapon dropped last week lol. Only rogue, no murder, sr, cg, nothing. Hopefully this week is different.

My naxx25 pug tends to run extremely heavy on mages/dks/druids, with a few rogues sprinkled in. I've yet to win one valorous token

Chest isn't as good as I thought it would be, sapph chest seems better itemized. We do a reserve system for alt runs where you can prioritize one piece from anywhere in the zone except KT and one piece from KT. Anyone who has something reserved rolls against other people who have that reserved, if you're the only one that has a piece reserved then you don't even have to roll. Everything else is free roll to the spec you are playing.
