Fucking Finally time to get exalted in V keep so i can get my Bike rec. then spend 12k gold for that bike YAY bikes

Finally hit level 80 and did my first heroic instance. Wiped like 3 times to Ingvar the Plunderer (UK) and finally killed him in the epic 4th battle with all DPS down and only the tank/healer being barely alive.
His spinning axe move sucks

Got Twilight Vanquisher last night after 3 weeks wiping 2 nights a week, did it on the 13th attempt of the night after switching tactics. Instead of AoEing the whelps after Tenebron died, we decided to carry on full nuking Shadron and kill the whelps after. Went from getting Shadron down to 70-60% before Vesperon landed to getting him down to 30-20% and only having to deal with 1 or 2 uber-breaths from Sartharion and much less twilight torment annoyance.

blah I just hit 80 too, my first UK pickup wiped like 4x to the 1st boss then broke >_> hey guys, how I use racial to get out of frost tomb? <_>

WoW gives me a lot of interesting ways to piss my friends off.

A friend helped me level my cooking for the entire reason of seeing if I could get the Delicious Chocolate Cake recipe from the cooking dailies. It took me about three days to get it. It took him well over a month.

This luck continues with the Mysterious Egg from the Oracles Quartermaster. I've hatched three eggs so far.

Heroics are such a joke (again), I kind of want them to be like they were before Blizz gave the keys a requirement of revered, it seemed like they were all harder when you had to be exalted.

Anyway, got my T7.5 gloves tonight! Which i didn't really need because I had T7 but it was a pub >_> who the hell am I going to see again right?

Hit 74 today, went with some guildies and did an instance which made me so sad Azjol Nerub! The setup was Paladin (80 prot) / Warrior ( 74 fury) / Hunter (76 no idea) / Druid (73 resto).
Wiped 3 frigging times through various parts of it excluding the last boss, the final boss of the zone was surprisingly easier than the rest of it all, even with people whacking on me, I think they swapped their weapons or something because nobody was hitting for over 100. Bet they're having second thoughts on a new guild healer now :D :D :D

On a brighter note I did a pickup Nexus, that one was actually good, we had 5 people, Paladin/Shaman/Druid resto/Druid feral/Death Knight, and it was easy cake the whole time.

Hoorah 2 zones down in achievements.

If you don't mind me asking, what all caused your wipes? The 3 pulls before Watcher whateverhisnameis are kinda RNG, if the wrong person gets cocooned you're hosed...thankfully it's just a few steps inside.

Hadronox should be easy for a druid, spam abolish poison! It costs the same as the single cleanse but works repeatedly in case people get hit again. Only thing here is the old wisdom of "DON'T STAND IN THE GREEN SHIT"

And the adds on Anub (and hadronox, but your group is dumb if you're pulling him before he webs teh doors on normal) are mostly nonelite so that's probably why they weren't wtfpwning you...there's still some elites in there that your tank should be picking up though. If one gets on you just try to run it to someone who can taunt or aoe it off you :D

Edit: Wait you said people hitting you with swapped weapons...were you maybe in Old Kingdom? The last boss there does the whole debuff that makes you see evil copies of your party members.

If so my sympathies, I dislike OK with a passion xD

Sounds like old kingdom with the forgotten one that makes shadow clones of your group. Its really fun on heroic when you have a resto druid... *cough* shaman clone is soorta Op too...

Ah my bad, it actually was Old Kingdom. I'm still learning the names of the zones and it mixes me up a lot


First was from fighting this boss that kept spawning spider babies, and for some reason they only came to me, people weren't taking them off me (or noticing them) fast enough so I burnt my MP on curing myself.
Second thing that caused a wipe was bad positioning. We were in this room with a lot of little adds and these giants, one of the giants pathed into us and I couldn't keep up with healing everyone.
Third was a mistake on my part, sometimes I just focus entirely on HP bars instead of what's going on screen, so I didn't notice that these things were shooting dark nova missiles at us, I was just standing there and curebombing till someone told me I should watch the screen, after that It made more sense to me.

Old Kingdom is probably the first Northrend instance that takes any kind of brains to pull properly. Your tank can't just charge from trash pack to trash pack, especially before Prince, where trash packs will fear, silence and knockback.

First boss is all about positioning. Bad positioning will get healers swarmed in a heartbeat. It's a nightmare on heroic if someone's standing in the wrong place :D

First boss has tiny spider adds, they are immune when a "Gaurdian" spawns (If you use DBM, you will get a warning, blizz default may give you a warning also unsure)
So until that gaurdian is dead the babies cannot be killed.

2nd sounds like the adds before 2nd boss... although I usually see people wipe from being feared and ramed into like dozens of things. Pulling it back to the ramp you came down almost, usualy prevents the bad stuff from happening.. sort of

Dark nova.. sounds like the adds before the last guy, yeah further you are the higher it arcs up... so you probably won't see it till its flying super fast down

Finally Naxx 10 cleared in 1 night! with a pug. finally get my Fall of Naxx achievement.

strangulate -> pet stun -> zerg and dead yay!, plus you can still remove hots with plague strike (for now anyway) xD i love that fight, i always end up finishing first and saving everyone else
