after waiting 1 month to get "felblood fillet" i finally got salty
Spoiler: show
pardon my UI i know its horribly cluttered
Got 6min maly 10man out of the way... only thing to remain is 10man 3 drakes.
Kind of funny how...
25man is having trouble with 6min mally, and 10man has the 3 drake problem, only 2 achievements left for both 10/25man 310 mounts.
Also finally done with gearing up my druid on herois, only 10man naxx/25man os/naxx/maly left to do!
Finally managed to get a pug that could 1shot all Naxx bosses (though no Undying unfortunately, laggy healers + heigan = x.x)
Got my nobles deck, as well as a few more pieces of t7.5
Still no really successful 10man Maly pugs though =/
Going to chyme in on the 10 man 3 drake. We finally downed it yesterday after ~3 weeks of struggling with 3 tanks 2 healers 5 dps. We switched to 3 tanks, 3 healers, 4 dps and it was *such* a cake walk compared to 3 tanks 2 healers.
On 3 tanks 2 healers: We were stuck for weeks when we had to go into portals, since damage was high, and it was hard for 2 healers to keep up (we would go into portals after 2nd drake died)
Switched to 3 tanks, 3 healers, 4 dps: Class make up as follows
Sarth main tank: druid (me) I put on a bit of fire resist enchants, carry mighty fire protection potions and use a vial of chromatic wonder.
Drake tanks and add tanks are both prot paladins (Used a warrior beforehand for one role or the other, but found prot paladins much better at this role for picking up mobs or tanking drakes since they can get threat the fastest in our experience)
Healers: Discipline priest on sarth tank, holy paladin (beacon) on drake tank + add tank. Resto shaman (heroism here as well) for raid healing.
DPS: Dual weild DK (not sure exactly what spec, look up Xamire on mal'ganis), Shadow priest, boomkin, mage.
Between druid and discipline priest cooldowns, I had no trouble at all staying alive during the big breath phase (2nd drake alive, 3rd drake disciple up). Healing was such a breeze one the 2nd drake was dead
Never focus damage on the drakes. Shadowpriest stacks diseases to the drake and the DK uses pestilence to spread the damage to the whelps. Cannot spend time focusing on adds or you fall behind.
After the 3rd drake dies, the drake tank goes into the portal with the dps (Here's where a hybrid heals (although it's doubtful if its needed in theportal with a real tank) 3 healers, add tank, sarth tank remain outside. Positioning is key throughout the fight...there's so much more to type but im not sure if you need it or not
edit: The first night we had 3 tanks 3 healers, we downed all 3 drakes, but fucked up (prot pld taunted sarth off me, died, healer got tail whipped by sarth and hit by a lava wave after). People had to leave after, but we knew we had it down...3 drakes down and wipe to sarth? it was frustratingBut we got to go again yesterday, and we did it on our first attempt. It almost seemed too easy...
If you're getting stuck on this attempt, give 3 tank 3 healer a shot, but you still need the dps to get through tenebron with only 1 set of whelps.
Yeah tried 3 tanks 3 healers, usually the first drake dies almost.. the exact time the 2nd wave of whelps comes out so its like 50/50 chance of wipe on that.
thinking gonna try the 3 tanks 2 healers though, as 1 the dps is a elemental shaman (thats setting up the runs) so probably have him backup heal/portal heal since his dps pretty much only matters on downing first drake and bloodlust.
Only done 25man sarth 3d, but did attempt 25man <6min maly like 40 times, and that was certainly a bitch, and you're right...it's basically reversed (for maly anyway, not so sure about 10man 3d sarth).
would love to try 10man sarth 3d sometime though, much cooler title if you ask me (and rarer too)
Got The Dedicated Few tonight.
We had 20% on kel'thuzad with no deaths all night when he decided to frost blast our add tank.![]()
accursed bow, anarchy, hatestrike, sealing ring of grobb, heroes crypt shoulders, valorous crypt hands all the same night of hitting 80 shitchyeah
Finally uninstalled FFXI and all the expansions. Funny how all that took nearly 40 gigs where WoW takes 13 gb including voice acting and a few FMVs.

Oh this!
Got it a few days ago! Forgot to update, and something something maintenance. After that, a guild mate helped me farm up some Earthgiving Boots and Legguards! Hooray my first purps, do crafted purps count? Did a whole bunch of wintercrown too, that zone is fun! I enjoyed it muchly over the lower scaled PVP (probably because people weren't aiming directly for me constantly as a healer).
Time to fine tune myself now with addons for dungeons and raids.
Got my first piece of Tier 7, the body. Started at like 55 emblems and earned up to the 80 I needed in a few hours. So happy, already gemmed with Regal Twilight Opals and a Solid Sky Sapphire. Now I'm sitting on 27.4k HP unbuffed.
On my servers bg's... we go straight for the healer... especially giant boomkin chickens and tree's its like.. OH GOD KILL IT! *bam dead* in battlegrounds anyway.
and.. for raiding current "normal raiding" I'd say is probably same as FFXI, (or feels like it to me) stand 1 spot dps/or heal, now achievement fights though... definantly make it feel alot different and challenging compared to ffxi fights.
Speaking of achievement runs... my guild was gonna try for immortal... we started on military wing, someone face pulled heigan (yes its possible without hitting him!) and wiped the raid 2-3 people didn't get to hearth out... that made me sad ;/
As an arcane mage that will kill anything but a geared healer or good dk/ret in 2 gcds from the end of first cast, and generally wearing no resil, *everything* in bg's makes a beeline straight for me lol.
It's funny shit when I have my pally buddy with me, it's hell when I go into bg's alone lol ><
Been a good week for me so far. Got t7.5 head from KT to start on Monday night. Was sitting on 58/60 valor badges after that, and I ended up joining a semi-pug 25m Malygos. Won on 2nd attempt, giving me my Champion of the Frozen Waste title, and just enough badges to get t7.5 shoulders. Oh, also got my first epic world drop in Storm Peaks, Wapach's Spaulders of Solidarity. I have them on AH for 3750 - too high ya think?
Yes, lol
1500 maybe unless your server economy has skyrocketed (Frozen orbs should be about ~100g in a normal environment, adjust from there accordingly)
ugly dragon 1/1

I hate you people with your green drakes.
In other news it turns out I can make a Nesingwary4000 1-2times a day for about 150-200g and sell them for about 1k-1.5k yay.
^that's awesome. Engineering right? I was thinking about dumping herbalism for it.
I think the green drake is awesome looking, i dunno what you're talking about ugly :/ i love mine.
Got the superior! achievement today. not bad for only playing seriously 2.5 months.
Yeah I can farm eternal fires, about 10+ in under an hour, so there really isn't much cost in making the gun since primal shadows come from my sisters mining or whatever, and I really just need a couple gems+frozen orb. So it can at most cost 300g to make, and people still buy it for 1k.
I can't expect to make money off it for too much longer, just hoping to get enough to get another epic flier for druid, and for sisters hunter.
I picked up engineering cause I'm a rogue and I am pretty serious about arena. As rogue the glove enchant is nice in PVE as well though, but there aren't too much pros from the profession outside of pvp. I hate gathering, I farm mobs (ty ffxi for turning me into this) so eng worked out great for me. My druid is an herbalist, that will probably be my main source of income soon - not sure how long I can make money off the guns. Might just have a lucky break but am going to take advantage.
I WANT GREEN DRAKE my egg hatches tomorrow I think, I've gotten one almost every week since hitting the first month of xpac and have yet to see mount or 2 of the pets.
