Guild finally downed thorim 25man, hit enrage, 4 people survived at the end.. yaaay ;/

only freya and mimiron left... although I dread how the 25man group will do, if not stuck on throium again for this week.

Almost amazes how 1 shot everything up to throim ;;

Tried for IC Hard Mode last night. It's doable... got steelbreaker to 60% consistently, but randoms dying is just too much. As soon as one person dies, it's like a chain effect. Will definitely give it another go and probably get it down this week, along with other hard modes.

Last week my guild had trouble on council, only had Razor, Kolo, and XT down. Then we go in there sunday and 1shot ignis council and 9manned Auriaya (ret pally died on the pull lol).

What should we go for next? Hodir?

Hodir isn't bad if you have decent healers, and people understand how to not fail at flash freeze (which is insanely easy...). Make sure people have projected textures on.

Thorim is really easy, IMO. My noob horde 10man killed it pretty fast. Need some solid tanks that can pick up multiple mobs quickly.

Freya is pretty easy also. You'll wipe a few times as you optimize your group to deal with the various add types. If you have decent DPS that can drop the adds quickly, I don't see how you can have much trouble.

My random horde guild did all 3 on 10man without much trouble (I'm the only one who had any experience on the encounters). Freya/Thorim were both within 1-2 hrs of getting there. Hodir, the healers failed on the first day...2nd day got it after like 3 attempts...they ended up using a bear tank in frost resist, which we don't do, since they had issues healing a warrior, which made it a lot easier for em.

I actually agree with you, but my random horde guild, and all the people that have had issues with Hodir found it a lot easier with projected textures. I think projected textures makes it easier for slightly less observant people.

I had help, and I'm not afraid to admit it! A pally friend was nice enough to come along and help me with both Alterac Valley and Warsong Gulch. He maimed, I did the flag thing! :D

...now I have to hit 75 so I can actually eat the cakes, and get into UP. >.>

Got Thorim down in 10 man on hard mode. Pretty nice considering my ten man is legitimately cursed. Hard mode Mimiron seems like it'll be incredibly easy when we have our a-squad.

Did 1 tower freya on 25man... only took 3 attempts yaaay.

They didn't want to listen to me about putting up 1 caster + 1 healer ontop leviathin, instead they wanted to put up like 2 healers + 2 melee to doa system shutdown...

This in turn made the catapaults kinda just hanging out there, and being raped by leviathin since they apparently have trouble shooting at anything over 20y away (when the things can shoot like 100+y, they need to L2aim!)... >.>

Another thing that makes me sad is catapault users only shoot like.. air missles when far from a target and then the... "bomb" thing when up close, when you can effectively mash both... obliterating freya adds (even big one) in under 5 seconds >.>

Did the medium size guy for iron council, got platinum disks. Alot easier then it seemed, 2 shot it.. wiped all night on throium after...!
