Very nice, what kind of setup did you guys use for that hard mode?

Prot pally, feral, fury warrior, unholy dk, destro lock, spriest, sv hunter, disc priest, and 2 resto shamans. Fight mechanics aren't too difficult, but it's a decent dps/healing check. He enraged at 2% or so and killed the tank and melee before the ranged finished it off.

DK is finally fully 10's geared for tanking. Now to move to some 25's gear or ulduar gear. 40K HP raid buffed, ~50% avoidance. GG.

Congratulations on your achievement Palin. I'm afraid you probably won't be seeing us around much at all anymore. We've steadily been having core players quit due to RL reasons and such and it looks like we don't have the quality of apps we need to progress in the manner we're used to. Sooo I think we're probably done for now. Goodluck with the rest of the hardmode achievements!

i finally got fking yogg kill (was in disneyland for first guild kill, had internet fiasco for 2nd one). i blew all my dkp on lotrafen cuz i had a bad day and wanted a purple. spent emblems on head.

Aw really sorry to hear that; I think everyone's in a really similar boat atm. These past few weeks I've seen every Top 100 Guild open up its recruitment twofold, but finding quality players to fit in at that level progression is no easy feat. I hope you guys can recover from the attrition and stay in the race.

Yeah graduation and the transition to summer is pretty rough on most guilds. We lost a disc priest, hopefully only temporarily, and a mage. Both high caliber members, however we're still progressing despite that. I've got a friend or two in Exodus (top 10-ish) who have been griping about the same thing. The deal with them is they have a GIGANTIC roster, 40-50 active raiders but not a single worthwhile holy priest or ret paladin among them supposedly, and thats been their problem as of late.

ANYWAY. Got my Chef De Cuisine achievement, 160 cooking recipes out of 162ish total in the game. Spent about 3hrs leveling a nelf rogue to do an ally only BoE quest recipe and then ran him around to buy some other ally only BoE recipes. I did two trips to booty bay via swimming down the coast from stormwind, which is no short trip. Did I mention the account I used was just some random helpful guy's on IRC who I barely knew?

finally logged on for the first time in a few weeks and got my pedopet argent squire and Of Stormwind title :/ i want Of Gnomeregan for luls but idk if I can be bothered to do all the lame valiant quests again. gotta say argent tournament beats farming zeni in terms of time killing though~

Found an amusing glitch where I got Damage Control achievement on the quest killing bones/lieutenants while mounted. I felt kinda cheated since I did enough damage in WSG later that day to get it legit QQ.

Oh yeah and got silly Sea Turtle a couple of weeks back too while i was looking for deep sea monsterbelly pools for the northrend angler achievement. Just need polar bear for the trifecta of annoying-to-get wrath mounts: land, sea, and air divisions.

Psst... if you don't mind a laid-back casual group of people, we never have mages, Avelles. We have 1 or 2 out-of-guild people that we bring in for Naxx-25 and sometimes Ulduar-10. Just throwing that out there for ya, if you're bored and Risen really isn't gonna raid much. :D (And because I'm fairly competent that suggesting a former-FFXI player as a PUG spot means you're far more intelligent and able-bodied than any other PUG we could grab. ;D)

Damn Silinde has been geeeeeeeeeared. Haven't Spriested in a while, but been so busy on Streppy and I find I have nothing to do on Adree anyway.


As for this time of year, our server got hit hard. Everyone's been cancelling raids (including us) and waiting for the graduate/finals shuffle to settle down until we get our roster normalized again. The top guild in our server lost 8 members in the past 3-4 weeks and most of them were officers. All of them cited different reasons but a lot of people believe it was their "toolbag GM", who he himself transferred to Illidan after apping to Blood Legion. We're not a very super populated server, but it would really suck to lose another progress guild.

Darkmoon card w/ agi is the absolute #2 best trinket in game for a bear druid right now. It's in the top 10 for dps too.
