I want to put this info out to other Crafters or people that are on the alexander server. this person asked our ls if anyone could make her a Cursed hecatomb harness and i told her i could. She the PM's me and said it will be a few days before i get the materials and asked what i charged. i told her nothing but if its a HQ im going to keep it and sell it and ill make her another one immediatly. She said ok. On 27 Oct 08 (4 days later) asked me if i could make it now, and i said yes just come to thickets cause im in merit party. When she got there i synthed it and OMG it was a HQ Cursed hecatomb, currently seeling for 14 mil on Alenander! she then said give me my harness and i said umm im leaving this party now and like we said before im gonna make you a new one. she said no that was my materials you wouldnt have made it if it wasnt for me. well while i was getting the new materials she called a GM on me and before i could complete the synth the GM jailed me and told me to hand over the item. I then explained the situation to him and he said oh well if they were her materials she gets the resulted synth. I said you know thats wrong as hell and i want to talk to your supervisor. after 5 minutes his supervisor came on and said give me the synth, and i replied with saying and what if i dont? he said ill take it and ill suspend your account. So i threw the cursed hecatomb away due to be so pissed off and i told him im sorry its too late i threw it. He told me well I hope you have a bad day and the next thing that happended was he suspended me. I have no idea for how long but thats how it ended. the GM said he seen no agreement between her and i about if it was a HQ, and i said yeah because we discussed it 4 days prior. well he didnt want to take the time to look into it any further so he suspended me and gave her a replacement item. Gotta love crafting on this game

She contacted the GM and told nothing about our agreement and said i stole the materials. Therefore the GM took the 14 mil gil synth I made and gave it to her! while i was making her the NQ version.

I usually don't do synths for strangers unless I'm in town, just so if things break or HQ can do something about it quick.

But it's kind of silly to toss a HQ harness just because you're pissed. GMs loves to abuse their powers.

But thanks to your heads up, people should confirm the deal in party chat or in tells from now on right before the synth.

What choice did i have? the GM said give me the harness now or they will take it then suspend me, might as well make it more difficult for them, either way i was gonna lose it. I also called SE today and made a formal complaint on the GM and the GM supervisor.

That is exactly the sort of response that's going to make you look like the bad guy. That is an awful, awful attitude to have. GMs aren't volunteers. They're making a living doing this. By your reasoning, anyone with a job that happens to be inconvenient to you deserves a hard time. Let's see this in a quick scenario.

You work at McDonalds. I come to you and order a Double Quarter-Pounder meal, no pickles. I'm allergic to pickles. You put them on accidentally. You give the burger to me, I open it up, and see the pickles. I ask you to remake the burger, since I'm allergic to pickles. You tell me your manager won't allow you to remake it, because of food costs. Now, I can be mature about this, simply refuse to pay, and leave. But instead, I knock the napkin holder off the counter, and throw my Coke into the kitchen before I leave. Might as well make it more difficult for you, either way I wasn't gonna have my burger.

I'm not saying that you didn't get shafted on the deal, and that's unfortunate. But acting like you did only got you suspended, and made you look childish. Additionally, it made someone take just a moment longer to do their job, because you had to act out. It was a lose-lose situation.

I don't believe you at all because GMs don't tell people they wish they have bad days.

Hard lesson to learn, but ALWAYS confirm terms and such with the person right before the synth, don't rely on something that was said hours or days ago, because GMs can only look back so long in the chat log. The same goes for trading and crafting in most games, if it's not someone you trust, don't give them enough rope to hang you if they decide to play nasty.

I'd believe it.. For the simple fact I had a run-in with this player the other day. She's in my LS and offered to help on Simmy because she needed trotters as well.. I told her I just wouldn't want her to leak the ToD since we had been keeping it pretty well between our group. I was the last in line in our group for the trotter's but I told her if she helped till I got drop, we'd help her get her's afterwards. I just told her to not bring more people and after her, we were done. Well the next day she brings in her friends and I guess Online-BF in Claimed to camp against us. So.. She's obviously not a person that listens well to agreements in the first place. Just wish I had known that previously. She's in TheTakeOva Linkshell

So whether this guy's story is accurate or not, She did turn out to be a bitch. I wouldn't recommend anyone trust her. :/

Sorry that happened to you, that really sucks.

I swear, I hate SE's laughable excuse at customer service/GM system, it's a huge joke.

When a Vice dropped to the wrong person in Sea a few months ago (The lotter used a portal, fell to random person who felt horrible about it), we were told by 4 different GMs and 3 Supervisors that it was impossible to transfer items from person to person, so if they give her a harness I'll be really pissed off.

If you had made such an agreement with her, he GMs would have been able to look back to that agreement, and they would have sided with you. GMs do not say things like, "since she supplied the materials, the item is hers", and as Wafik pointed out, they don't say, "I hope you have a bad day." Another thing to note is that even if you drop the item, the GMs will still give it back to the other person. The only thing dropping it or refusing to give it will do is bone you in the ass.

If it's true then you should report the GMs, and supply times for all the conversations to an SGM, they should be able to straighten it out. If it isn't true, then you're fucked.

This shit happened to a person named Natalya on Fairy under almost the same thing. The person who got that HQ harness from you obviously did not want to pay you for the time you spent crafting her the item.

Even if you make it clear of your agreement if you HQ that it was going to be sold/split since you are the dude that spent a ton of time and effort skilling that craft with all subs to be even able to make an item like that, some people can and will turn greedy and fuck you over.

If I ever craft anything for anyone I make it perfectly clear if it's a chance for a big money item that we both agree 100% on what will happen if I do HQ something. It's not happened to me yet but sometimes you have to be a hardass when dealing with people who bitch and moan when they can't get what they want.

P.S. Try hitting return a few times whenever you post something like this. It read as a huge run-on sentence and makes your whole post look bad.
