This is how I always do my synths. If I HQ i will sell/split with the person. Both people get something and there's no problem. You really should never craft for another person unless you can't afford synthesis materials yourself.

That's your opinion of how HQ's should be handled; some crafters go by that, but there are many others who use variations of the one laid out by the OP. The important thing is that there is an agreement in advance. Bigalo thought he had one, but doesn't have anything to back him up, and now he's paying the price for that.

And he's obviously learned from this mistake, but he's also trying to help other people learn from his mistake as well - not only in warning against this particular player, but also in providing a concrete example of actions a GM will take with regard to crafting agreements. I think most people confirm the terms of an HQ result before-hand, but this shows that if you were in a rush, or didn't think to do it immediately before the synth, for whatever reason, you can expect to lose the HQ if the person bitch-slaps you with a lazy GM. It doesn't surprise me, but I can say that I have never heard of an instance where a GM did this, and it pisses me off even more that they won't transfer rare/ex drops to another player when someone requests that they do so in instances of a mistaken lot.

But rather than people saying "sucks to be you, but thanks for the heads up," they're slamming him for making the mistake and having the AUDACITY to come here and use the player warning forum to actually warn other players about a shady player.

In hindsight, it was fuking stupid the throw it away, but maybe he thought the GM's wouldn't give it to her if it had been dropped, and obviously he was of the opinion that she didn't deserve it.

Riahna won't last long on Remora, so it was pretty stupid of her to go there in the first place. So yea, she made off with 14 mil she didn't earn, but that won't get her very far on Remora. Once she's found out, she'll be pretty much blacklisted from every major end game shell over there, as she's probably the type to ninja lot something retarded like Cleric's Cap.

Wow all this over me shame shame shame Bigalo when u want to tell the truth please feel free to do so ok . For the record their was never any agreement what so ever about anything this was just a so called ls member making a craft this person was in a exp party when the item was made. Didn't have on adv support or anything never said anything about if i Hq's that they would keep it i never said anything about him crafting it for me 3 days before that. Because i already had someone trying to make it for me but it failed an when i wanted to try again this person wasn't on so thus for i /sh an asked in ls .. so i went out to his exp party an gave him all the mats that i bought an after the item was made and i saw it came out hq i even offered to tip HIM an he said NO! im sry i never made one single dime from crafting im sry but im keeping this one BS!!! i said i would tip that does not give him the right to keep my item and make me a NQ one for me what if he made another HQ then what??? i bet he wouldnt give me that one ...... this guy was just trying to get rich of my item as far as the rest of u ppl idk an dont really care! ..... Until now most of this arguing seemed like a pretty small deal and just a bunch of people not very involved getting angry at each other over a crafting decision that wasn't made with proper etiquettes.

So I'll be in the minority and say that the agreement didn't expire. You can have 10 sets of materials but if you don't have the craft then you can GFY. If you work something out with a crafter and you agree, then you agreed. If you don't agree, find another crafter.

Who knows what the current topic is, probably Guineasaurus rexes at this point. Not reading 6 pages, not arguing...whatever, I wouldn't get dicked over if I was either side, so hooray to not getting screwed over by simpletons.
