Which n64 games actually used the memory pak?

The only game I can think of off the top of my head is quest 64? anyone else know if any other games "required" it?

I could save my times on it for Diddy Kong Racing. Crusi'n USA used it as well, but don't remember for what exactly... probably times as well lol

Mainly you used it for storing additional data and wasn't required like Quest mentioned above and Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon if anyone even remembers that lol

Wow, Quest 64. I remember that wreck of an RPG, but I'm somewhat proud to say I finished it.

Didn't Diddy Kong and Majora's mask need the expansion pak as well?

yeah I'm talking about the memory paks, not the expansion 8meg upgrade lol. Is the memory pak only really useful for backing up data in case the battery in one of the cartridges go bad?

i'm aware of what you were talking about, I was merely making a comment towards the memory expansion pack, asshole. : ) IIRC most Madden games required a external memory for the saves, but I only bought like...2 madden games for my N64 so I couldn't tell ya.

Bomber Man used it for something. I think for the different Bomber Man parts you could pick up for multi player.

LotMN:SG was one of the best games for the 64 imo. i've beaten it more times than most games i can think of, though that's not such an accomplishment considering how regrettably short the game was.

heh. i think i can top that. i've actually beaten FF:MQ several times. granted, it was when i was a little kid and at 8, that game was just the right pace for me. still, i think that's more embarrassing than most can claim, unless someone owns up to being a fan of custer's revenge or some weird shit like that.

I wish I could get a copy of Mystical Ninja on the 64. I remember playing it when I was younger but never getting to the end. Also I remember putting a good deal of time into Quest 64, would like to finish that someday too. lol

I'm almost positive you needed a memory pack for Gauntlet 64.

Pretty sure you could use the memory pack to store photos off of Pokemon Snap so you could take them to that machine in Blockbusters and print out stickers.
