I'm guilty of that. I'm always looking for pipebombs and molotovs. For good reason though, those two items have saved my team and given us a win many times.

The only time I ever see a company get around that is when the same content is already set to be released on the PS3 platform for free.
I can't see Microsoft making Valve charge for it, it's against their ways for the most part, especially when it's being advertised a content expansion rather than a 'patch'.
Anyone got any tips for not sucking as smoker? Been trying to get back into vs, and I absolutely blow with smoker unless someone else is with me to deal with any nearby helper. No idea what the tricks nor exploits are aside from that one building trick I hear everyone bitching about.
ONLY time I'm ever looking for a molotov is if I was infected first and I KNOW a tank is coming, otherwise, I tell my team to fucking rambo it all the way and don't stop for anything other then a pounce/smoke.
Also, one of my teammates brought up a real good point, you should be able to toss molotovs/pipe bombs while incapped, I understand why you couldn't use a shotgun/UZI, but why can't you throw a bottle/bomb? Just reduce the range at which you can throw it.
This is why you work together whether you're on the infected or the survivors. Smoker is all about useless unless you're snagging someone who hasn't already been downed, or someone whose teammates are soon to follow. On their own, none of the infected are worth much other than the Boomer, but that's just because of the type of ability it has.
But yeah, other than the No Mercy finale where you pull someone off the building, I don't think there's any other tricks. I don't really view that as an exploit personally, more like intelligent placement lol.
Well if they added that it'd probably kill you off while incapacitated, which wouldn't be a bad thing. I hate laying there dying while my team ditches me or takes too goddamn long. Molotov would speed up the process, pipebomb would give your remaining teammates a chance + finish you off quickly.
Smoker is one of my favorites to play as. Knowing the map plus knowing how to use the smoker makes it nasty. That and dragging people into fires, witches or hunters, oh my, such fun.
And it seems a lot of people play on Steam, where be the 360 players?!

Yeah the Smoker is incredible, but the only way I've found to utilize it is to know your terrain like the back of your hand. There are plenty of hide spots that you can really fuck people up with. No Mercy Act3 is usually one that I can stall people for several minutes if they get stupid about it. Just keep dragging their ass off the building/out of the room, hide and/or respawn, repeat. I stalled one group for over 10 minutes there because I would just hide after I drug one out and they wouldn't come after me. Once they left for the lift, I'd either drag them off the building and kill them, or grab another out of the room.
Dragging people off the very top of the hospital in Act4 is a blast too. If you get a real dumb group you drag a person or two to the edge, when someone goes over to save them, sacrifice your Boomer and blow the other 2 or 3 off the ledge by proximity > profit.
isawa and i played earlier and raped.
I need to start playing this again. Last game I played involved a bunch of randoms that decided the best way to play survivor was to turtle the map.
Think we ran out of ammo due to Infected rushes by the time we got to the big Lobby in the No Mercy Hospital.
Yes, that one a quick run away from the starting point. Yes, I face-palmed too.
Every time I tried to make a break they'd all bitch that I was moving too fast. Fucking dipshits.
The joke is I was supposed to be infected but some jackass quit and I got recycled onto Survivors again.
Well, it was announced that the DLC for PC would be free by Gabe Newell. Who knows about the 360 version.
