And Xbox Live Party owns all this voice crap in game.

Was playing GTA IV online last night with a friend, but it's virtually impossible to make a game without someone sneaking in so with us in XBL Party, we never had to hear them bitch about getting killed or us setting it to Rocket Launchers only and launching each other as far as we can.

It's like vent... for "free" (as long as you have gold). You can use it with anyone on your friends list and they do not have to be playing the same game. So awesome.

I don't know. Personally I have played some overzealous commentators who just won't stfu. One guy literally was giving a live coverage of what's happening in the game. "Oh, two zombies coming from the right!" "oh oh, smoker!! The smoker almost got me, almost... did you see that? That shit was insane!" Dude, stfu I was one who saved you from the smoker.

I also played with a bunch of 7 and 12 year olds once (because they sounded so young via mic), and they were horrible at aiming and refraining from friendly fire.

Usually if I use my mic. I only use it for brief references. But yeah, I've played with a few people that won't shut the fuck up and mention everything.

It depends on what they are communicating. If it is useful information then the more the better but mindless chatter makes it really hard to hear special infected approaching.
