It's funny how you say this when it was thanks to the xbox kids the powershot exploit was found, which you seem to be enjoying. If you read the steam forums for background on the exploit at all. A lot of PC users had their doubts on the exploit being real.

The opinion is still valid regardless of where the exploit originated from. Its like getting a tax refund from a shitty government. Just because you're getting money doesn't change the fact that the government is shitty or something like that.

I'm surprised at the time discrepancy between the two. I was expecting 2-4 hours difference, not nearly the whole day........and I don't see why this is. For Valve, they could have just had it all up on Steam the day before and flick the switch to on to coincide with the XBLive release, perhaps they're doing some last-minute measures with the PC version because they can (where-as something like that would mean a full-fledged delay for 360 due to Microsoft Q&A).

One thing to note is that the power-shot is *still* in the 360 version.

My only guess is the did the 360 version first, before they even started the PC, and used the certification time to finish the PC. They might have slightly mistimed it.

Calling someone a fanboy is a cop-out. It goes both ways and there are pc "fanboys" out there who are so protective over their gaming platform they will put down everything else and it is equally retarded as the people who defend their consoles.


I cannot wait to get home. Stupid work feels like it is dragging on forever. Has anyone tried the new lighthouse level yet? Is it one area or does it have 4 areas in it?

Edit: lol I have been reading the l4d steam forums and it is almost as bad as the FFXI BG forums during a patch day... So much lag so many people and so many threads simultaneously popping up.

Lighthouse is 1 medium-sized area. Tons of supplies, but kind of hard to defend. longest I got was about 4 min and change. #1 on leaderboards is 34:24:33.

Yeah I just watched a youtube video of some people playing it and it was insane because it seems the best place to defend from is the top until a tank comes and smacks you into the water. they only made it to just under 3 minutes.

If it's true you have 1 tank every second past the 14min mark, and all four of you can kill 1tank per 10seconds, in one minute there are 54 tanks outs. They're 20 minutes over what triggers the 1tank/sec which would me they'd have 1080 tanks trying to kill them at that point. Unless they figured out a way to maximize the amount of zombies on the screen at once to prevent tanks from spawning, I don't see it happening outside of a glitch.
