L4D it is fun. However I wasn't able to convince any of my friends to play.

Played a few rounds with RL buds, and all I have to say is that it's about fucking time a game comes out with AI partners that are not dumb as bricks.

Enjoyed it a great amount, and hoping the full version has more surprises to throw at you. Main pet peeve is looking around those small bathrooms for junk since your flashlight barely illuminates those rooms, and the amount of cramp hallways to move through (which hopefully the full game has more varied environments for)

Ran smooth as butter, but given the graphics are essential onpar with Half-Life2, it didn't surprise me.
(which is probably a good thing when it throws 25+ zombies at you in swarms)

Mreh, computer can't even play it. Figured it would happen. When I start up it's just a black screen, but I can move the mouse and hear the clicky sounds when you hover over stuff. I watched a video to figure out how to start a new game, which continued to have a black screen as it loaded, and then just crashed

Wondering what's causing it, because I can play HL2 with no problems, so I don't think it's a graphic / video card thing, although who knows.

Awesome game is awesome! Finished the demo on expert with 2 other friends. The level of teamwork needed fills me with glee, but I hate friendly fire. With so many zombies filling the screen, it's easy to lose track of where your people are.

I always go in front of people and duck to make sure they don't hit me.

This game is the fucking shit. I am getting the full version ASAP. Fuck yea, versus mode I want to try so badly. I want to play hunter and smoker sooooo bad. lol

Well since there have been a couple interesting stories i thought i would share my best and /angry at a game mechanic:

Expert : Subway @ tunnel fork w/ ammo: Witch is behind us to the left. Zombie wave music starts. I being com call out the strat of me throwing a Molotov to the front and three guard our flank. I ready my Molotov and a Smoker immediately grabs me. When you loose control duo to smoker grip you drop a grenade if you were holding one. set the witch and my team all on fire. all dead in less then 5 seconds. fire + Witch = impossible....

I actually tried it split screen coop over at my friend's house last night because I wanted to show him the game. We had a blast playing it. And is it just me or do the pistols come in more handy than the other guns lol. Except the combat shotgun. That thing is the shit. We played through it a second time and all the gear you could pick up was in completely different places and the zombies were placed in different areas as well. The first time we went out of the first safe house I went into the air conditioning ducts and there were zombies there. The second time it was completely clear. The first time there were zombies climbing over a fence by the police car. The next time they were leaping from the rooftops.

All in all, this has the making of an absolutely fantastic coop game.

Some q's:
Are witches killable? We usually just avoided or sacrificed someone if it was along the main path.
How does respawning teammates work? Is it just timed?

yes, it's around 45-60 seconds

So far, I've had the team kill every witch we've come acrsoss, we just unload the fuck out of it. Most of the time we always get one in the last area of the second level and we just lure her in front of that gatling gun and unload on her, lol.

This game gets a 10/5 stars for me, only pet peeve, as other people have said, is the friendly fire thing. So many times have I killed/incapacitated people because they ran in front of me.

Witches are my favorite things to find, half because it means that's not a tank around the corner. Although, playin all day yesterday I got some pretty gay spots to find a witch. Had a game where she was sitting right outside the end of a train so we couldn't get out, and she was sitting right at the top of the final stairs before the last safe room when I had 1HP and two of the others were dead.

i rescind any negative comment i made about this game, the demo is sick. easily outshines master and panic by miles.

Just played through this quite a few times on expert with a friend of mine. This game is sooooooooo fucking good.
