Well, the best match up of the last few years sucks this year. No Tommy Brady to hate on and the Colts are underachieving. We also get what should have been another huge match up in the Cowboys and Giants. Now that match up even sucks. There was just so much potential this week. At the beginning of the season, it could have been argued this would be the best week of football until January. Now, just like the colts and cowboys, the week is just underachieving.
New York Jets at Buffalo Bills - Bills need to bounce back and try to maintain a lead in the division. Jets aren't anything spectacular, but they should play better after a tough loss against Oakland. I expect a pretty high scoring game with Edwards having a monster day leading the Bills to victory.
Jacksonville Jaguars at Cincinnati Bengals - Jacksonville avenging a tough loss vs the Bengals racing to the worst season in NFL history. Not a tough choice for me. I've tried to justify a Bengals win lately, I'll stop now.
Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns - Should be rather interesting. Both these defenses are actually really good. I predict a rather low scoring affair with Anderson having a somewhat decent day (compared to standards set thus far this season). Browns pull out the win.
Houston Texans at Minnesota Vikings - The Schwaub is been great lately. Andre Johnson is a fucking man. And by that, I mean he's a fucking man. Slaton won't breakout here, but the Texans passing game will. I think the Vikings give up another 30+ points and lose.
Detroit Lions at Chicago Bears - Lions have been hanging is some games lately I think. Don't really pay much attention, but it seems that way. Still, the Orton beard is overwhelming. He's got like a 140+ passer rating when in a no-huddle offense. Dude is playing very good. Bears aren't going to lose this game.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Kansas City Chiefs - "You play to win the game". They won't though. The Bucs have a great defense and will completely overwhelm Thigpin, who didn't have a bad game last week. Didn't he get close to 300 yards? Won't matter though.
Arizona Cardinals at St. Louis Rams - The Rams are hot despite a loss last week and west teams haven't traveled to the east well (well, technically St. Louis isn't that far east, but you get the idea). I think all that changes and the Cardinals put up some points against the Rams on the way to victory.
Green Bay Packers at Tennessee Titans - Game could be interesting, but they are playing at Titans Stadium. The Packers trounced the Colts much worse than the Titans did, but I think that had more to do with the Colts picking up the rush much better against the Titans. Titans will win this game, but I don't think it'll be by much.
Miami Dolphins at Denver Broncos - The Fins have been winning games in which they were underdogs and losing the games they are favored in. I don't know the line here, but the Dolphins are playing at a high elevation as a sea level team. Doesn't sound like much, but it makes a pretty big difference. I think Pennington will have another big game, but ultimately the Broncos take the game late.
Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants - Meh, what could have been. Dallas isn't that great. New York is coming off a huge road win, but they typically play better on the road. I think the Cowboys can prove something by winning or keeping it close. They'll probably just keep it close, Giants win.
Philadelphia Eagles at Seattle Seahawks - Bad Seahawks are bad. Good Philly defense is good. Great Westbrook is great. Eagles are going to rape the Seahawks in this game.
Atlanta Falcons at Oakland Raiders - Raiders coming off an emotional win against the Jets. I think they dip a bit in this game and the Falcons have another Roddy White stellar performance and march on to victory. BTW, who's fapping now that they picked up White in like the 8th round of a fantasy draft?
New England Patriots at Indianapolis Colts - Meh, last year at this time I was drunk in a Buffalo Wild Wings. I think we racked up a couple hundred dollars worth of beer and wings watching this game. We can dream of another great bout can't we? We probably won't get it though. Colts need this more than the Pats.
Pittsburgh Steelers at Washington Redskins - Monday night football fucking delivers. This may be the best slew of monday night games I've ever seen. This should be another great show. I think Pitt rebounds off of the 4th quarter decimation that received at the hands of the Giants.
