seriously, marvel sat back and realized, as the cash flowed in for iron man and even the new hulk movie, that if they actually WORK HARD on the top billed franchises for movies, get actors who REALLY REALLY want to play the character (downy jr was going nuts to play iron man). They will make shit tons of money and it will be a great movie to boot.

The last time I read a Thor comic, there was Thor, Thor's alter ego, another Thor, a future Thor, and an alien Thor. <.< But that was in the early '90s, so I expect it's out-of-date >.>

Someone who came to mind almost instantly for Thor was Alexander Godunov. He had passed away over 10years ago but he fits the Thor look a lot better than the suggestions so far in this thread. Of course he would of only qualified if he were still alive and not aged at all since the late 80's

I assume they will introduce the rest of the C-list (well, except Thor apparently) Avengers in the Hulk/Iron Man/Captain America/Thor films leading up to the Avengers movie.

I can't imagine this whole thing...quite working, but it's ambitious as hell and it will be entertaining to see how it all comes together.

I mean if any of these movies or characters fall really flat, it'll be like "eww get that fucking retarded (insert superhero here) out of my (insert superhero here) movie!"
