That's part of the problem Kyo. I haven't located Fairfax Ruins or Fort Independence yet. I spent most of my exploring time going along the outskirts of the map. I've been making smaller loops through other sections now trying to find whatever I can. There's so much shit in the game that I just don't want to miss any of it, and I'm on the last mission. So if I don't do it now, I'll have to do it when I start up a new game.
All told though, this has been the best time sink since Oblivion for the 360 and not in a bad way. The problem is that I've been playing this so much Fable 2 is collecting dust. And Left 4 Dead comes out this month. Too many games and not enough time for me to play them.
Head to the Nuka-Cola plant. Do some exploring and you'll find a dead body called Wing Mercier I believe. Grab the note he carries, then continue looking around the factory. You'll eventually find an area with long stair cases leading down; take one of them and you'll encounter a robot named Milo. You'll need to get a key from him (I used speech, I think think you can kill him too or you can get a note next to a factory protectron somewhere, can't say for sure).
After you get the key head back towards the entrance of the factory. In one of the first rooms there's a safe. Open the safe and snag the Nuka Cola Clear formula. Once this is obtained, quick travel to the Red Race Factory (it's NE of the Nuka Cola factory, it's pretty close). As soon as you arrive, you'll be prompted by some hickey mask goons. They'll offer caps for the plan. Kill them all and snag Ledeoux's Hockey Mask.
I highly recommend visiting Vault 106 if you have not already. There's some freaky and cool stuff in there.
Here's a list that I put together for my own use last night:
Shishkebab: Vance from The Family (Blood Ties quest reward started in Arefu), Lucky Harith (traveling caravan merchant)
Railway Rifle: bought from Tulip in Underworld, workbench in control room in MDPL-13 Power Station (across from actual power station), "Stealing Independence" quest in Rivet City
Deathclaw Gauntlet: F.Scott Key Trail & Campground (far SW corner of map), found on random corpses, possibly a reward from a quest given by Rivet City armor seller
Nuka Grenade: Nuka-Cola Quantum Challenge quest, traveling caravan merchant wearing a yellow jumpsuit, corpse in "Yao Guai Cave" south of Vault 101
Bottlecap Mine: Minefield quest from Moira, Nuka-Cola soda shop east of Girdershade, Jacko's Pop and Gas Shop, Dashwood's safe in Tenpenny Tower
Dart Gun: Boutique Le Chic in Tenpenny Tower, corpse in Raven Rock, "Head of State" quest reward
Rock-It Launcher: bought from Moira or Crazy Wolfgang, found in Rivet City Armory
The only ones I've personally confirmed are the Bottlecap Mine and Rock-It Launcher schematics from Moira and the Shishkebab schematic from Blood Ties. Rest are pieced together from vague and somewhat incomplete information on the Fallout wiki. Probably going to check out a bunch of them tonight, I want my railway rifle!
The railway rifle just sounds fun. I mean come on, anything that shoots railroad spikes is bound to have near infinite amusement attached to it.
Both are located Southwest of Megaton. I ran by it on the way to Tenpenny, if you need any help just go west from Megaton and look for the giant ass building (Tenpenny)
As for Fable 2..
http://www.gamedaily.com/articles/ne...ombined/?biz=1Fallout 3's debut displaced Lionhead's Fable II, which fell to fourth place overall as its sales dropped 51 percent.
anyone got a picture of fallout3 world map and the location of places?
There's a nice one linked to on page 9.
^ Agreed. And not one I have to download lol for some reason my laptop refuses to load any of the maps I've attempted to download.anyone got a picture of fallout3 world map and the location of places?

lol... I have yet to find the power station myself, hell I havent even been to underworld. Where are both of hese place ;x
Where's my magnifying glass?
Apparently Fable II has started a new trend in maps: Tiny and unreadable? That's two features right there! lol
I'm glad that the Railway Rifle is classed under "Small Guns". While the Rock-It Launcher is actually a hell of a lot of fun, it's totally useless on my character that has a sub 20 Big Guns skill.
Remember that the Rocket Launcher and Fatman both do alot of splash damage, you don't actually have to hit the target. Just wait til they're near a wall or some other solid object and just aim for that in FPS mode.
