Has anyone else finished the slaver quest you get from grouse? I cant find Flak to save my life in Rivet city.
I've found that if Shrapnel is running the shop Flak is either at the restaurant in the market district or his room. I've yet to see him out running around. Just finished up the quest "Those" and got the ant strength gift. I was getting worried because I was really low on ammo. I got lucky and used Vats on the ant guardians with my Scoped .44 right after I had picked up Gunslinger as my latest perk. Started out with 22 bullets left for my Magnum and I left with 15 still in my inventory.
The Scoped .44 is a thing of beauty with high Small Guns, Finesse, Gunslinger, and Sniper perks. Even using manual aiming it can easily one-shot a lot of enemies and three hits while getting lucky with a critical will probably take down even Enclave Soldiers or Super Mutants.
How many of you take the good path and the bad path?
Three times through and I still can't help but be a good guy. I am so tempted to be bad because you can get better help and the as an evil person you can get unlimited caps and ammo. That is so very tempting, despite the fact that I never use my caps I still like to see the number rise.
Technically there is no good or bad path. When the end result is one sentence in the ending... I can't even finish that sentence it is just that bad. So I wouldn't really call it a path, it doesn't go anywhere. I like being good though. I can't help myself but do it in almost any game. Too bad "wrpg freedom super devs" have yet to understand the concept of neutral ambitious.
Anybody try to beat this game as a baby?
YouTube - Fallout 3 Escape the vault as a baby.
I was wondering something. If you give one of your partners the alien blaster (best weapon in the game) do they ever run out of ammo with it. Most the weapons I see them use they never run out of ammo. I really like the alien blaster but it's ammo is to limited. I was wondering if I gave it to one of them that if they would pretty much turn into a beast.
I wouldn't dare give him the ultimate weapon though, would kill us all. For those who haven't found it check this video.

Shoots 8 mini nukes at once.
I actually haven't even picked up the alien blaster. Where is it at?
It's near vault 92 and Old Olney, you'll get a radio single when you are near. Sorry that is as much as I know off the top of my head, when I'll check more and edit this back.

Found this on another Forum:
Anyone care to give it a try? Stuck at work at the mo, would be nice to re-create this bug. Also dont know if this is a bug or not (cause in my entire play time I did not encounter a single issue) but I got addicted to buffout and then chose the strong back perk whilst on buffout, my max weight was then 3048KG and stayed that ever since.
Damn, I'd have to start over a new game to test that, but it would seem worth it. I would carry all my weapons with me all the time.
Not just your weapons, but all sorts of junk too!
If this game had percent clears mine would be 101%. I've played this game enough for two lifetimes.
For the Alien Blaster, it's west and a tiny bit north of Greener Pastures Disposal Site (16 on that map) and north and a tiny bit west of Minefield (23 on that map). It took me a while to find it because I was going right north from Greener Pastures and running right by it, but it's up in the mountains a bit. Can't miss it once you're at the right spot, it's a huge crater that's very radioactive.
I guess my number one bitching point after 20 levels is the Metro system. It's cool that it connects virtually everywhere, but god damn, it's confusing as shit sometimes. Took me two hours to figure out how to get to the Ranger Compound, because the distances on the world map don't correspond to distance in-game very well at all when you start going into the subway. It's kinda unintuitive that in order to get to something that looks close to the Capitol, you have to go to Anacostia Crossing waaaaay down at the bottom of the map, go into the subway station and zip 100 yards across to the other exit of the same station and pop up a mile or two away from where you went in.
Wish there were more than 20 lv's ;/
Does the level 20 Explorer perk let you fast travel everywhere or does it just put them on your map? I figure it's the latter but if it lets you travel everywhere I'm definitely getting that.
No it just show's you the marker according to the guide.
