If mentats raise per+5 and int+5 eat it before u level up and gain the stat bonus when picking ur skills?

I don't think so; I believe that your skill points allocation is based on your base stats and not on modified stats. When I hit lvl 6 I had some mentats on but I didn't notice any additional points aside from what I get from that perk. Worth trying out though.

damn just remembered something i was thinking about has any one tried the regeneration perk thing i gess you could call it. From doing the quest in megaton. When you have advanced radiation poisoning you regenerate limbs so like you get health back or you just aren't crippled?

so aperently on the west side of your map north of little lamplight there is a place with high radation signs yeah dont go there i walk in and all of a sudden im getting hit with 340rads per sec guna try and take some stuff and wear some gear to cut it down but idk if i'll make it

No, you still get crippled it's just that you can regenerate your crippled limbs by sleeping in a bed instead of having to go to a doctor or use stimpacks.

so i just found out when having a instructions to an invention and finding another copy makes it stronger.

You can do this anyways (at least in your home bed, not sure if it applies to all beds).

From what I'm seeing, it seems like for long distance sniping, you're better off just doing it manually instead of using VATS.

Oh really? Sorry for the misinformation then. The first time I got a limb cirppled was after I got that perk so I was confused then. I'm about to go play but I'll check the language and get some better info.

So I just skipped a chunk of the story. Accidently stumbled upon my dad while I was headed somewhere else. I talked to Three Dog and decided to head back to Megaton to sell some junk, then decided to go sell some Naughty Nightwear to someone I heard would pay some decent caps for it. Found something interesting alone the way and bam, there's dad!

Any idea how much I skipped and how much is left of the main story?

if you look on ur map its the 2ed square north line and the third square south line if that makes sense

no your way way way way way north, warp urself back to vault 101 and then go then just head stair north 2 squares its on the border of the 2ed and third square up

so on my game my pip boy glitched out and i can no longer read any notes it takes just great....

I did full perception and did lockpick as a stat boost and wearing suit +5 lockpick
and cant get to 50 do dunno how to get behind that sign for the bobble head.

Ah well I give up I got enough xp to lvl up and they wouldnt let me inside the vault so guess ur not supposed to or w/e, back to my other save!

*Big Trouble in Big Town - Save Shorty, then stay in town to help fend off the Mutant attack. After the attack is over, Shorty will give you a Lucky 8 Ball that gives you +1 Luck
*Wasteland Survival Guide - After finishing the book, you gain 4% Poison/Rad Resistance and +4 to Sneak/Speech
*Those - Already Mentioned. Of random note here, after the questchain is completed (or at least after you get the injection), you can go back in and kill the Queen, who drops "Ant Queen Pheromones," which can be given to Angela Staley in Rivet City. If you come back sometime later after giving her the Pheromones, she'll tell you that her and Diego are getting married and will give you a date/time. Go to the Rivet City chapel at that time to watch the wedding and get a karma bonus.

Big Town is NW of the Springfield School. It's in an area that looks like a small neighborhood. If you start looking around there, you'll see a few houses barricaded and with a fence up made of scraps. You walk around it and eventually you'll find a bridge leading into Big town.
