Question about Photoshop CS Actions.
Sometimes I take about 45 random pictures with my nikon and when I upload them to my PC they are usually 1400x1050 in size (thats the lowest resolution my camera will go).
I was wondering, is there a PS:CS action that can be created to resize, and save (overwrite) the pictures in batches so I don't have to manually resize each one to say 600xXXX pixels and click overwrite each time?
Thanks

I don't know what photoshop CS has but I remember using a Batch resize tool in Elements that was located under File - Automate - Batch

http://irfanview.com/, has a batch resize on it (among other things), but it seems like most batch resizing is done in viewer programs rather than something like photoshop

I appreciate it, I'll give this a try.

CS does have batch resize/nameing, but ive only used it once, I know it's in the help files.
I will second irfanview as a great resizer/namer, ive been using it for years.

You can create your own action in Photoshop. All you have to do is go to Window > Action > New Action and hit Record to start "recording" your action. Go through the resizing steps you want to take (downsize whatever size you want) and once you're done with the resizing bit, and you're satisfied that's what you want to accomplish, end the recording and name your action.
If you have Bridge CS3, you can batch resize simply by clicking all of your images that you want resized, and run the action through Bridge.
