...However, Virginia may be one of them. It is a state that cannot be blue if McCain hopes to see 270+.. it's an important and potentially relevant state. VA != KS. There's a big difference in the percentage of people who will vote for a black democrat in VA when compared to KS. You're giving this state far too much credit. And when/if this state ever swings blue, it's 6 electoral votes (perhaps 5 for future elections).. it's a pretty meaningless contribution to the needed 270. If I lived in a swing state, or.. at the very least a state with a significant number of electoral votes, maybe I'd care enough to vote. I'm obviously not real passionate about the election either way (or the election process), but I support Obama out of our options..
