...However, Virginia may be one of them. It is a state that cannot be blue if McCain hopes to see 270+.. it's an important and potentially relevant state. VA != KS. There's a big difference in the percentage of people who will vote for a black democrat in VA when compared to KS. You're giving this state far too much credit. And when/if this state ever swings blue, its 6 electoral votes (perhaps 5 for future elections).. it's a pretty meaningless contribution to the needed 270. If I lived in a swing state, or.. at the very least a state with a significant number of electoral votes, maybe I'd care enough to vote. I'm obviously not real passionate about the election either way (or the election process), but I support Obama out of our options..

This is pretty much what happened to me, I am not registered here in Florida, but I am registered in PA. If I could fly back up there (lol, yeah, cause I'm swimming in money ...) I could vote, but looks like I'm not able to this year. I'm kind of pissed about that. :/

I don't like the idea of two dominant parties, or the fact that ethics are fucking terrible. I hate politicians who put up commercials trying to belittle or slander the opponent. What are you, 12? I'm a Libertarian, thus voting Bob Barr (whom I agree with the most). I've been told time after time about how voting this way is a complete waste, but it's what I believe in. The amount of apathy I see in the US is sickening when the primary reason people are voting for a Democrat or Republican is one of the following:

• Vote for Obama because of the 8 years of Bush!
• Voting for one candidate as they see them as the lesser of two evils.
• Voting for McCain because Obama has an Islamic name, thus must be a terrorist!

Our idiot governor, Tim Kaine, has now allowed felons to vote in Virginia. Also, if you wear any political sticker or clothing to the polls in Virginia, they will not let you vote. I was hoping to wear my shirt:
"Democrats want government to solve all our problems.
Republicans want government to legislate morality.
I just want the government to leave me alone.
I'm a Libertarian!"
