You can legally purge absentee votes for such things as being printed on the wrong kind of paper (and I mean like being slightly off weight) and other things like that.

Even if you aren't going to vote for Obama or McCain, Rora, you should vote on local and state laws as well.

Your vote for president may not seem to make a difference, but an election is much more than just the presidency.

That is why I believe NOT voting is irresponsible. I don't give a shit if you don't like the candidates.

And for the record, if Obama loses (something I think is highly improbable), of course I'll be staying in the country.

I stayed here when Bush was president, I'd stay here if McCain was president. I just hate Sarah Palin.

Just move to Australia, we're moving into communism/dictatorship soon, our government is in the stages of putting mandatory ISP level blocking on all HTTP traffic on the internet, if the content is what they deem "Inappropriate".

Fuck yeah for having a Prime Minister who is fluent in Mandarin and used to live in China.

I soo want to leave, but USA doesn't seem like a better option either Then again communist for prime minister vs crazy americans hmmmmm.

GOD I WISH I VOTED FOR THE OTHER GUY WHO DIDN'T NOT TELL US HE WAS GOING TO BAN HALF THE INTERNET.

Yep and the EFF is having a hard time fighting back cause we don't have a written freedom of speech law.

First they took our guns, now they are taking our voices.

AUD is weak as hell now and my savings have basically dropped 35% in value as a result, so I'm seriously considering moving to Canada.

Coming with you. I'm not used to the cold, but I'll take anything over the current cuntstaple of a cuntry it's going to be in 5-10 years.

Oh and here here with the savings. Next time our dollar rises I'm considering moving 80% of my funds overseas.

Why doesn't anyone want to move to Europe? I could live in Amsterdam. Or Norway. Fuck, what about Iceland? Iceland would be awesome. D: Minus their whole bank thing going on.

Then we'd actually have a popular vote to decide president, rather than the electoral college. I know that my precinct is going to be a heavy McCain vote, basically eliminating my vote. Now my only choice is to decide to drive 400mi round trip or not, as my absentee ballot couldn't be processed by hand (goddamn you early voting laws in texas), and I missed the mail in time due to classes. Also, you have to pay for your stamp to even mail in your ballot which is absolutely retarded.

If I were three years older (i.e. out of college), if McCain wins this election I would move my ass to Europe in a heartbeat. I have duel citizenship in the US and the UK so I could live/work anywhere in the EU. Amsterdam would be pretty nice :D or maybe Finland/Norway/Sweden (that whole area north of Denmark/Estonia where all the hot girls live >_>)

Yeah, if McCain does end up winning somehow, I think I'll finally put into motion my lifelong pothead dream of moving to Amsterdam. Got a friend there that can set me up pretty damn nice (did grad school in U.S.) so it'd be awfully hard to resist if I knew for sure the U.S. was about to go to hell in a handbasket.

There are hot girls EVERYWHAR in Europe lol but for those thinking of leaving for Europe unless you have a ton of money its hard as hell to immigrate there, for some reason they don't want Americans. I won't leave the country if McCain is elected mainly b/c the democratic congress will have him by the balls. OTH, if Wasilla McChurch lady becomes President if he croaks, I think the whole world should be scared, since she has the IQ of a tadpole and a desire to start the end of days so we can all meet Jesus.

Honestly I'm worried this will happen no matter who wins. People just don't know how to celebrate or protest peacefully.

Edit: Minus the bit about the white people... maybe.

Oh no doubt, it's just that the absolute hottest ones either live in Norway, Sweden, or Finland. Or Italy.
