Your vote for president may not seem to make a difference, but an election is much more than just the presidency.

I just think it's irresponsible to tell people that absentee ballots aren't counted the same as a regular ballot based simply on rumor or conjecture. According to the law, every ballot is equal and every ballot is required to be counted. I think that's the message that should people should be spreading.

Then we'd actually have a popular vote to decide president, rather than the electoral college. I know that my precinct is going to be a heavy McCain vote, basically eliminating my vote. Now my only choice is to decide to drive 400mi round trip or not, as my absentee ballot couldn't be processed by hand (goddamn you early voting laws in texas), and I missed the mail in time due to classes. Also, you have to pay for your stamp to even mail in your ballot which is absolutely retarded.

I have duel citizenship in the US and the UK so I could live/work anywhere in the EU. Yeah, if McCain does end up winning somehow, I think I'll finally put into motion my lifelong pothead dream of moving to Amsterdam. There are hot girls EVERYWHAR in Europe lol but for those thinking of leaving for Europe unless you have a ton of money its hard as hell to immigrate there, for some reason they don't want Americans.
