Given that the server is going down in addition to the client update, whatever this mysterious change is involves the server-client communication layer somehow. Given that this was not part of a major update, it is likely that it is an emergency fix forced by some third party program. Most likely some data was being sent, and exploited, that SE realized that the client really had no business being privy to in the first place. Any guesses?

On the site is still Nov 3rd... weird.
They usually use the date in Japan for update notes (e.g. patch dates are all referring to Japanese dates), prolly a typo.

Heh, today (sunday) my group decided to go 2.5-3 hours earlier then usual. Right smack in the middle of JP prime there were between 60 and 90 people inside Nyzul and outside it was STACKED. I couldn't even load all models on screen. We fruitlessly tried to enter for 45 fucking minutes before giving up and trying again 3 hours later by that time almost nobody was entering at all except us and 1 or 2 other groups.
