Im not sure what they do over there in indiana, but here we have good coaches who actually do care about their kids.

3 of the top 5 graduation rates in the tournament last year came from the state of Indiana. (Butler, Notre Dame, Purdue) I still stand by the stat being useless, but it shows my disapproval of the statistic isn't sour grapes when my team had one of the best rates. There are also reasons other than just class difficulty that are faulty in those calculations, but that's another story.

People who live near ACC schools know that they pride themselves on academics (That includes Duke and UNC).

Duke has spectacular academics for NORMAL STUDENTS. You won't see me arguing that. I can just about guarantee that a majority of the players on the basketball team were not in the top 5% academically, which is around what it would take to even be accepted there as a normal student. I'm sure many players are very intelligent people, but most wouldn't be intelligent enough to get accepted to Duke under normal non-athletic circumstances. I would say the same thing about any other school if they were in the same overblown media hype as Duke is.

There was an "Outside the Lines" episode on ESPN from the early 2000s that had Duke students talking about how Sociology is a far easier major than most other majors there. They followed by showing a disproportionate number of athletes taking that major. They had a part showing that Carlos Boozer was overseas all but a week or two during a summer school class, yet he passed it. They also talked about how many of the basketball players had oral exams for some classes instead of written exams. (hello subjective grading)

Winning games doesnt make a coach legendary(the good kind), See: bob knight. What they do off the court for their community is, you either need to go read up on what you are talking about or shut the fuck up, Seriously.

This should be attached: There is only 1 other team I hate more than Duke, and that's Kentucky.
