Oh man, Meeks goes off last night. That guy is out of control. If him and Patterson can get hot late in the year, they could make a decent run in the tourney I think.

I thought that team was dead in the water after that opener, but it seems like Gillispie turned em around fairly well since then. Watching that game last night, Meeks was just insane. It seemed like some of the 3's he was shooting were just to see if he was still on a hot streak, and they kept going in

Meeks is hot and cold. His point totals largely depend on the amount of 3 point shots he takes and the amount he makes. He threw up about 15 3point shots last night, and hit the majority of them. If he makes his shots, he's golden, if not, he's shit. Patterson is a damn good forward too, but Meeks can't dish the ball out for shit. He's a shooter and a scorer who has on and off-nights. They'll both have to step up against good defenses to get anywhere.

Lol yeah, his Assist/Turnover ratio is shit this year. Like .70 range probably. It's definitely less than 1. He'll have games where he'll throw up 35+ and others where he shoots 3-15. Patterson is solid though. But Meeks is money from the free throw line this season.

Pitt @ Louisville in 30 minutes. This is probably the toughest game for Pitt to this point, but they were very impressive against G-town. If UL can win some key battles in the paint, Samuels has a good game, and they shoot better than 15% from the field, they could make it interesting.

Duke had a solid win against a top 10 worthy Georgetown team, and Sparty got a ground out mentally tough win against an Illinois squad that should be ranked imho, good day for me =)
