Wouldnt you know Zeller broke his wrist, out indefinetly.
Michigan State is losing by 3 to IPFW with 16 minutes to go in the second half...
Why in the world are they playing an away game vs this school that I've never heard of anyway?
I don't know either but here's my best guesses:
IPFW plays in an arena that holds around 11-12k for basketball and most teams of their size play in arenas of 1-2k capacity.
Maybe it was a 3 for 1 deal or something because I think IPFW has played at MSU a bunch of times in the last few years.

How could you NOT think a man like this wont have his team performing? A year of a very young team behind them, Izzo is ready to rock. Our embarassment by Memphis last year taught us a lot.
The fact it took 3 pages to get some Izzo going is disturbing.
Oh, and Go Duke! Met Coach K way back when for my 12th birthday and have admired the man ever since both as a coach and a role model. Since UGA is so meh in basketball, and I don't see them having another run like last year, my loyalties lie with Michigan State then Duke.
Oklahoma looked pretty solid all as did UNC. And i find it somewhat ironic that Hanborough's replacement has a broken ankle or wrist or something now. Though thats not to say UNC wont be present come sweet 16 or on...it's pretty much a lock they will. But as was mentioned before, they've had stupid amounts of talent and havn't been able to do enough with it.
It's fine we have another refshman that can step in his place in Ed Davis, his first game as a rookie put up 10 points and 14 rebounds.
We should get Psyco T back next week in the Maui Tournament and we have a game against MSU in a couple weeks.
Watching the Duke game and Bobby Knight is an announcer, man he's an awesome announcer.
Why is Duke yet again ranked in the top 5 yet again. They'll just lose 10 games, still get a #1 seed, and lose in the 2nd round...
Anyone watching #4 UCLA loosing to unranked michigan? This is actually a decent game.
Im trying to watch more games this year so when i call tyche a doofus in the tourny i can mean it!
Yup, watching right now. With Illinois winning in Vandy and this game, the Big Ten might be a bit better than I thought.
Holy shit UCLA lost to michigan wtf lol? Maybe the big 10 has gotten better, we shall see.
I have my doubts that UCLA is that good. (considering they barely beat Miami of Ohio or someone like that a few nights ago)
I do think Michigan is better than they were last year. I think they have a shot to make the NCAA Tournament this year.
The Big Ten as a whole should be improved over last year. Every team except Indiana and Wisconsin return a majority of their key players. (Wisconsin is still ranked so it isn't like they are some slouch now) The Big Ten may not be the best conference out there, but I'd put them ahead of the SEC and Pac 10 right now for the power conferences.
I don't think UCLA is as good as their ranking shows, tbh. They lost a shit ton of talent to the draft and all. I think they'll recover, but I don't think they are Top 5 right now.
I do think the Big 10 is going to be better. I mean jeez. They weren't very good top to bottom last year, so common sense says they get a little better at least.
I hope Michigan beats the hell out of Duke tonight ... although I doubt it will happen .. I can still hope
