I too am wondering the same thing. ETNS had them. Brown cant shoot a goddamn ft to save his moms life, Pigram thinks he's Kobe and they are letting Blair beat the brakes off of them inside. He does it to everybody but damn, how often does a 16 have a team like Pitt on the ropes.

What's important is survive and advance... Playing poorly one game doesn't necessarily mean they'll play poorly the next.

teams react differently to these kinds of games. Sometimes a high seed has a close game like this and it rattles them. They lose the next one because they are tight. But sometimes (I remember years ago when florida barely survided a first round game and then won the title- this is I think the Lon Kreuger era) that these games light a fire under a teams ass and they do very well. We'll see. I picked pitt in the title game <_< hope it's the latter.

I picked them as well, I do like to see underdogs prevail on anyone out outside of the ACC though. One of the only times I ever rooted for Duke was back in 98 or some shit when Campbell University were talking shit and guaranteed a win versus Duke with Elton Brand, Corey Maggette, Avery etc...

At least Dayton beat WVU, so that's kind of an upset but they always play extremely well in the tourney.

Just a correction - it was in the Billy Donovan era. Mike Miller hit a last second shot vs some team in the first round. That's probably what you were talking about.
