Agreed, but thats still no excuse for poor ball control and almost no shots falling for state and UNC hitting everything they put up.

UNC played well, MSU didnt. Morgan was a non factor, and that was it. Considering the route MSU had though, i'll take #2 overall and call it a night.

Congrats to UNC for winning what they came back for from last year. They came out and earned it in spades in that first 5-10 mins. Gotta be proud of MY boys though, they never gave up and stayed toe to toe the rest of the way.

Back from watching the game on Franklin Street. I'll post some pictures tomorrow night. Too tired to talk much about the game, will discuss tomorrow as well.

Will say that I'm very proud of my alma mater. Very happy for the seniors - Tyler, Danny, Bobby. I will really miss seeing those guys, as well as Ty, Wayne and Ed - all of whom will undoubtedly go pro. Next year will see the rebuilding process again (as it was coming off the 2005 title), but I'll definitely enjoy this for now

and Michigan State was undone by what normally kills them and that's a fuckton of turnovers. I don't even think UNC forced all of those. They just threw some stupid passes, got too caught up in the fact that they were overmatched and pressed too hard.

To be fair, UCONN may have been able to go toe-to-toe with UNC, but they lost one of their best players...hell, they still went to the final four despite a season-ending injury to a key starter.
