Mirror's Edge Demo (on 360)

Anyone played this on the 360? I downloaded it earlier, and I've gotta say, it's very interesting and different.

Any thoughts?

Played it and i gotta say its pretty damn fun. Controls are simple even if its more button pressing then i first thought, but over all fun.

Yeah, I like the controls. Very simple and pretty straight forward. I also like how gun play is very shunned upon and will get you killed very fast.

All in all, from the demo, I think it's worth a rental.

Downloading on the PS3 as we speak. Seems like a lot of gaming outlets are putting a lot of hype into this game.

Downloaded and got tired of running from things. Spent the next few hours trying to get better with disarming/busting the balls of my enemies.

(I know this is the 360 topic) but...I downloaded it for both and I have to say the PS3 one is pretty smooth. The 360 version felt a bit choppy occasionally, but it's also just a demo so I can't say much past that. After I got the hang of the controls it was a very fun demo, though the control scheme is a bit confusing at first to combine. IE: wall jump->turn->grab or wall jump->turn->kick etc. Once you get that all down it's pretty easy IMO. I definitely want to pick it up to see the added stuff like time trial modes etc and to snag some trophies.

Wouldn't that completely kill the whole point of it? I don't think people would get the same sense of vertigo playing in 3rd person.

I only added the 360 part because I had no idea PS3 also had the demo available, so feel free to give your input PS3 users.

Yeah I played the PS3 demo this morning and it seems like a nice concept, not something ill pay 60 bucks for, ill pick it up later on cheaper or rent it.

I'll pick it up once it gets cheaper. I like that they let you turn off the FOLLOW THE RED mode though, I was worried it would completely ruin the game.

PStriple or 360? I found it easy with the analogue stick but when I tried using the SIXAXIS I fell to my death. >:

Sixaxis controls suck for that part, just use the stick and move it LIGHTLY when you're starting to get thrown off to one side.
