How long is it?
How long is it?
Im waiting for this game to ship from gamefly, ive played the dmeo like 20 times, fucking amazing
Difficulty levels? Replay value other than time attack? Sounds like a rental at best. >.>
The only other thing it has to offer is time trial, I finished the campaign in 5.5 hrs, so yes rent it, not a $60 title, 20-30 at best.
You unlock Hard mode after you finish it once on either difficulty.
played this demo last night finally, it was one of the better video game experiences i've had in a LONG time... i just wish it had like 50 more chapters!
i'm torn between whether to throw money down the tubes and buy new to show support for a sequel, or be thrifty and wait for it to drop way down in price - as it will fairly quickly.
awesome fucking concept / execution though, with some polish and a longer sequel this could really be a contender. ME2 = GOTY 2010 if theirdoinitrite.
the only down side I've found to Mirror's Edge is the end where you're almost forced to fight. I'm on the last chapter and it gets increasingly more difficult to NOT use a gun when you die in like...2hits on normal.
For the whole one other person out there that might care, the DLC Time Trial maps just came out. Since I love me some DLC, I bought it and I'm currently downloading it now.
Up to $60 spent on DLC so far this year now.
Here are the trailers for it:

This has come about because they're finally embracing "Mirror's Edge" for what it is -- a true, old school, hard-as-balls platformer brought into the world of 3D. They used to dismiss that distinction, and since the game's fans are the ones who support it strongly, it was wise for them to accept it.
Really can't wait to play them myself. My HDTV is currently broken down, though. Sadness.
