Naix? 5000X.07 = 350 dmg drain. Naix is a fucking beast and counters high hp heroes easily.

Yeah, but occasionally, you get a good game to remind you what's so great about dota.

Anyway, retard in dota are almost always...retarded. It's easy to piss them off without quitting the game.

Played it a couple of times, never really got into it because its just one big whinefest. I think out of the 20 maybe 30 games i played literally 75% of the time someone leaves midgame for whatever reason, usually ragequitting. The rest of the time I still get owned regardless because I'm not very good at it and if I actually start a lane and am winning it I'll get ganked because I'm not cautious or vigilant enough (and people never say it when they are missing a hero on their lane...)

I enjoy when people quit from my side, I'd much rather me and my friend who I usually play with do a 4v5 with extra gold going to us instead of a 5v5, we always win in a 4v5 because we're always better than the person who quit and instead of having a drag on the team we get more exp/gold.

But yeah, DotA has really really started to have a shittastic fanbase, originally (back before Allstars and even into AS up to version 3~5) it was pretty good, there were your crappy people and the regular and then the people who played it way too much, but at least people were friendly and didn't whine and bitch and moan about every little thing. It basically did what starcraft did and ended up attracting too many 12 year olds with unlimited internet access and no parental control.

I don't like TDA though. Problem with TDA's are it's not as relaxing since a lot of people tend to play super competitively even if its not like an official league anyways. I don't like getting denied or having to deny. I used to be in a professional dota clan but that was like 5 years ago and I got so sick of playing that game in a manner so "stressful".

Isn't that kind of the whole point of early-game Dota? Defending your lane, denying your opponent and trying to last hit your creeps and if the opportunity arises killing or badly damaging your opponent while preventing him to do the same to you.

Yeah, and that gets boring and tedious quite quickly if you ask me, it's easy enough as a ranged hero, but if you're a melee I find it extremely annoying and adding way too much difficulty to an already difficult early-game situation.

That's why I love pubs! They're so easy and fun.

I played DoTA a long time ago, probably 5 years, played it for about 2 years...and it was most likely the most fun Ive ever had playing any game, ever. That says a lot to me...still wish I could go back to it, but I imagine so much has changed and things are much more competative than they were, it would be more hassle than its worth.

To be honest I really liked when Allstars was literally just rehashing older characters from the older DotAs, even if they ended up changing like 3/4 (or all) skills, they'd at least keep the name and the model the same eh? But I suppose there's only so many characters from the older DotAs to be had.

Definitely a lot has changed, s'why I don't go back either don't really know all of the heroes again and don't want to relearn everything =( Just too much to keep up with now
