That depends. Do you want to be in a highly populated server where you'll likely always have people to play with, but will have a lot of competition when you reach endgame? Or, do you want to go somewhere with a lower and thus more relaxed population?

I would like a high pop server, with a good amount of healthy competition... if competition in FFXI can ever be healthy.

From what I understand, the level of competition on Odin is plentiful, but far from healthy.

I support leveling DRG as a main melee job, but for the love of God please research the job well and do it right. Nothing makes me sadder than a gimp* DRG running around.


*Gimp does not refer to low tier gear, but rather to poor gear choices within their tier and poor play style.
