    Logitech Gamepad Problem

    http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Dual-...602419&sr=8-30

That is a link to the gampad I have.

I've checked and the problem only happens in Windower and not POL. Basically I set D-pad to menu/targetting and when I login it makes me move the mouse before I can select anything with the d-pad. If I am trying to navigate macros it will move left to the macro I just had selected and lock it in place until I move my mouse. I went into FFXI Config and turned off the hardware mouse cursor but it likes to turn back on its own.

Has anyone else had this problem and know of any quick fixes for it? Thanks.

I've been using that pad for over a year now, no problems so far. I also started on PS2, using a keyboard is hard for me.

Same thing people are saying for me: started on PS2, was too difficult a transition to solely use the keyboard for me.

You may want to just use an official Sony Playstation2 controller and a usb adapter from your local Radioshack. I have had problems in the past with Logitech and other third-party brand controllers on my PC in use for FFXI, and have never had a problem with my Sony one in any respect.

Edit: I actually had the same controller you linked in OP and was having problems with it, as well.
