    Content ID troubles

    Camping NM with 2characters when one gets "You were disconnected from PlayOnline" this usually means you've been suspended or banned. So i was fearing the worst. However i was able to log in but when i went to FFXI it said no content ID available o.O So i go to reactivate and it says maintenance -.- Now my question is why was one character's content ID suddenly disabled and the other wasn't touch'd? Both chars are using the same CC info and SE doesn't use 1month subscriptions.

    same thing happend to me for all my 3 accounts

    It's a known glitch that happens from time to time when the monthly billing cycle hits. Just wait till the registration servers are up again and reactivate your content IDs.

    Got some confusing information. I went to POL's site and logged into the Membership information for the account that was not kicked earlier. It gave me this message

    Your account has been closed due to unpaid fees resulting from declined authorization on your credit card. You can reactivate your account by paying these fees with a valid card. For more information, please log in to the PlayOnline Viewer.

    However that character is still logged in. o.O Now on the character THAT WAS KICKED and it lets me log in and view everything as if nothing was wrong. However when i got to reactivate my cotent ID it says there was an error and that my CC information was wrong but it clearly isn't. Also it shows no content currently active.

    edit: the maintenance is over but this is still occuring.

    Just reinsert your CC information, then reactivate your IDs. Always worked for me.

    You are saying you can't reactivate your IDs for one character while it works for another, unless I'm missing something D:.

    Reinsert the CC info on the one which isn't working.

    have you tried a Different CC then the one you have with your other account that is not having this issue.

    POL wouldnt let me use the same CC for two accounts. i dont know why and it doesn't make sense but thats what happened. enter a second card in and it worked.



    your cc could have been accidentally blocked as well. and that you will have to call S.E for.

    its happening for me ive tried 3 cards so far and all have said CC info is incorrect 0_o lol.

    gona need to contact SE, but 1st can anyone tell me if they did contact them and got fix??

    constant thing with me as well for the past 3 days (not counting registration maint.). SE is charging my bank $1 as a verification each each day I've tried but POL then saying "server busy or wrong cc info."

    I've called SE and they've given me the spiel "its our busy time of the month, give it a week to straighten out" and the newest one is that my bank is taking to long to reply to their bank thus resulting in a denial on SE's end.

    Error mssg that I'm getting is UCS-60257. Is that the same message everyone else is getting?

    Oh dang Aero, I was wondering why I hadn't seen you online. Sorry to hear you're having trouble.

    A quick Google search shows UCS-60257 being the error when you repeatedly try to submit CC info. There's a 30 minute cool down between attempts apparently. Not sure what the underlying problem could be though.

    I've had this problem with debit cards, the outstanding auth locks card for ~2 days and second account won't accept the same card until it goes through usually >_<

    I'm still getting the same thing, online webchat employee said just as much. Kind of annoying, guess I'll just busy myself with other things.
