    Overwhelm and Ranged WS

Does it effect them? And can anyone provide any proof whether they do or don't.

they dont, it'll be annoying to position ranged ws @ front as sam anyway since u get tp so fast

Med seems like the only merit worth the time then on SAM/WAR with Yoichi.

Yes, but I don't need it for 6 hit, making it useless =(

Overwhelm doesn't stack with Ranged attacks. For the ideal setup 5 levels of STP is awesome but you will need 2 pieces of gear (Usu feet/sword strap). Amano delay + 6hit will make a Soboro/Yoich setup hard to beat on most HNMs or meripo mobs. Sam/War (Soboro/Yoichi) will be the new trend in ffxi.

Meditate is a joke with 6-hit Soboro Sam, another reason to put 5 levels into meditate. Making back to back light during meditate is always fun!

How much does Namas Arrow do with and without songs/rolls on typical HNMs and how hard is it to reach the accuracy cap for the WS (I assume its a lot more accurate than sidewinder)?

Without songs Namas is not that great but I normally have x2 march x2 min on most stuff. My current setup puts Namas in the 400-700 range with good attack food. Namas produces very little hate so you will be WSing 2 to 3 times more and still generate less hate from mobs. Before JoL was nerfed I WS'd 114 times compared to 30-40 WSs from the other melee. My WS average was somewhere around 510-520ish and I only missed 3 Namas. I have about a 92-96% WS acc with Namas.

draken is pretty much spot on, id say it avg's 4-700, but if the situation is right you can probably push 1k depending on the mob/de/buffs
