Shouldn't be expecting anything beyond a fighting/action movie w/decent special effects from this. I'll be extremely surprised if it turns out to be anything more, or if the acting is better then something we would see from a serialized TV show.

I thought RE2/3 movies were decent, they kept me interrested... but I think i saw maybe 1/2 of an AvP movie and couldn't get over how horrible it was
