Wasnt there a blip at the end of the Transformers credits that shows Megatron opening his eyes or something in the bottom of the ocean? My wife swears she's seen it and I know I've heard of it, but neither of us stayed to the end in the theatre and its not at the end of our dvd. Cant seem to find it on youtube either. Maybe I've heard of it because she insists its real >.>

I don't know about that, but what we do know is that:

Megatron is back, as he is brought back to life by the Constructacons using dead robot parts. Also, since he absorbed the allspark he is much more powerful.

I'd prefer he be brought back to life by my favorite character, other than Prime, Unicron.

Although, we that know what happened, know that was Galvatron. I don't think anyone wants that. Unicron would be a very interesting angle though.

i'm pretty sure that their forms were never explained in the cartoon.
if i remember correctly (which i probably don't) just after their ships landed there was a probe that went out and scanned a bunch of vehicals and other random stuff for the decepticons. never really explained, it just kinda happened.

After the Ark with all the Autobots and Decepticons in it crashed into a Volcano, it sat dormant for millions of years. Then the Volcano erupted and it activated the ships Computer Teletraan 1 which went out looking for local machines to scan in an attempt to rebuild all the damaged robots.

You children were clearly not old enough to see what happened with the Dinobots. There was a tremor in the mountain where the ark was crashed, Wheeljack found some dinosaur skeletons and thought to create the Dinobots.

The idea was to match the Decepticons in brute force (the Autobots kept getting their ass kicked because they're workers by nature and not fighters like the Decepticons).

Originally they were completely retarded when made and smashed up the Ark, but then got a "slight" brain upgrade before saving the day in the episode.

I thought they initially got the idea after taking Spike and friends on a trip to a natural history museum and saw Dinosaur bones. I know they locked the Dinobots up in a sealed off section of cave after initially building them after they went nuts in the arc...since ya know, Wheeljack was a hack inventor who couldn't get anything right without it blowing up in his face.

Nothing of Megatron, the last movie scene was Starscream leaving the atmosphere.

Watch it again..you see those lights at the bottom where megatron is? That is them reviving him and he is seen in the trailer with a jetpack flying out of the ocean back to the surface.

I also wish they would name him Galvatron but they won't to "avoid" confusion for the normal people viewing the movie, fuck them.

in the trailers you can clearly see three Decepticons at the bottom of the ocean, that's Mix Master (cement truck) Rampage (bull dozer) and Long Haul (dump truck), three of the six Constructicons.

I also wish they would name him Galvatron but they won't to "avoid" confusion for the normal people viewing the movie, fuck them.

I'm glad they didn't, Galvatron is overrated.

You can see the Constructacons around Megatron who is in the middle. They revive him with dead robot parts. There is a rumor that he is now a Triple Changer but no one knows at this point. Also as mentioned the writers didn't want to call him Galvatron because it would confuse those who are not familiar with the Transformers Universe

Just look up the movie on wiki and click on a character's name like let's say "The Fallen" and it will say what happens to him at the end of the movie. Pretty much sounds right from bits and pieces I've heard. All together it's not a bad story, makes some tie-ins with the all spark again

Apparently it was an allspark shard not dead robot parts that revives megatron and he does gain a tank mode in addition to his jetmode

There is going to be a 3rd movie, just that Michael Bay needs a break before doing another transformers movie so it will probably be 2012.

We decided to go watch the Midnight Premier last night, both screens they had it showing on were absolutely rammed, we had to settle for shitty seats to sit together (4 of us).

I enjoyed this film a great deal, absolutely no ass ache throughout. It was pretty funny in parts too. My heart fluttered a little bit when Optimus made his first appearance.

Very fun to watch, ill probably go again, and maybe again..
