This is what the Fallen looked like in the comic book, Transformers: The War Within (Dreamwave Productions). He was never actually in the original cartoons.

Lorenzo di Bonaventura (on of the producers) said that in total, there will be around three times more robots than in the first film, (which had thirteen Autobots and Decepticons, and four minor machines mutated by the All Spark). There will be some robots who can transform into weapons, and others who may retain their Cybertronian forms.

So not all have been announced yet.

Other noters:

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen will be released in regular and IMAX 3D theaters on June 26, 2009. At least three of the action sequences will be presented in 3D.

Luxoflux is developing a video game based on the film, which Activision will publish. IDW Publishing will publish a five-issue prequel comic entitled Transformers: Destiny, written by Chris Mowry and drawn by Alex Milne, who collaborated on the company's previous comic based on the films, The Reign of Starscream. The comic begins in December 2008. Destiny comprises two four-part stories, the first of which is entitled Alliance. Simon Furman is writing the adaptation of the film. Product placement partners on the film include Wal-Mart, YouTube, Nike, Inc. and M&M's.

During production, Bay attempted to create a misinformation campaign to increase debate over what Transformers would be appearing in the film, as well as to try to throw fans off from the story of the film. However, Orci confessed it had generally not been working. The studio went as far as to censor MTV and Comic Book Resources interviews with Mowry and Furman, who confirmed Arcee and The Fallen would be in the picture.

1) They're all signed for 3 movies
2) Reason bumblebee wasn't a bug is because the deal with Volkswagen fell through. If you notice, all the cars are GM manufactured.

Did they really say, that the temperature would keep them dormant? Around 0 °C doesn't sound that cold for a machine. Volcano might have made more sense.

And fuck the robots that turned into bigger robots... They only did that to keep up with Voltron. All Devastator did was show up, step on something, and then get blown back into his little parts.

At the end of the first movie they threw all the torn up robots into the ocean. It was the deepest part on earth where the pressure was said to crush them. It is possible they did that too all but megatron that they secretly kept for observation. I'm so excited for this movie when does it come out again?

how can he not be a main character? srly like 3/5 episodes of the tv show involved trying to save his ass for running off instead of staying behind like they told him to!

They did change his personality but it kinda makes sense, bumblebee was always the teenage transformer trying to prove he was an adult, what better way than to pair him up with the teenager?

It was sad he wasn't a bug (I drive a bug myself :O), but like said above what else could they do when volkswagen wasn't a part of it?

Why is everyone bringing up the whole deep sea thing?

Barricade and Starscream were never captured in the first film. Barricade was never involved in the final fighting and Starscream is shown flying off at the end. Besides Megatron, those were the only two Decepticons listed that were in the first film. I wouldn't be surprised if they used the old line about Megatron's consciousness being moved to a 'new' body or whatever.
