Hmmm Most likely less than a month to the patch yet not one new tidbit in over a week. New approach or just a lack of juicy update details? Hopefully we will get something new tomorrow to look over....

They are saving it for the VanaFest and Fan Fest. Plus they have the expansion announcement coming up too, just don't know if they will do it in Japan or here.

the update was to be in early december, but it was pretty obvious it wouldnt be on 1st december as that was before fanfest, 8th december is early december, 15th december is mid-december so thats out, the 22nd would be xmas week and who works on xmas >.>, and the 29th december would be a tad bit late. you therefore only had one choice for mondays ;x

When you put it on a timeline it looks like this (orange square = update):

In 2005 and 2006 there were 5 updates a year, in 2007 and 2008 it dropped to 4 updates a year. Lets hope that 2009 will keep up the updates count (possibly the new add-ons will generate more updates next year).

Also, as you see they arent always on monday, so guessing the exact date of the update months in advance deserves at least a cookie, maybe even one with macadamia nuts.
