Also, jobs have needed a major rework for a while. They've tagged on new non-merited abilities for a lot of jobs that start at lower levels but never updated or changed merits to include them, nor reworked AF/relic for these jobs to somehow give a nod to these abilities; when essentially way back when, every ability and/or skill was somehow addressed by JSE/AF, etc.

I'd honestly rather some of those little details than tacking on a bunch of new stuff.

Though new stuff is nice too. avatarplz etc.

They said in a past interview they were going to add a few more items to ZNMs mostly to help PUP,so we'll see if they've extended that to other jobs. Aside from a few very nice pieces(Hachiryu Legs) most ZNM gear is very situational and are sidegrades to existing gear

A large job adjustment dump is unlikely, imo. If anything, they'll add that weird NIN JA they were talking about and leave it at that. New avatar could happen, but I'm not holding my breath on that one.

Im pretty sure the statement about ZNM and PUP predated the actual event being launched.

They were hinting to what became the Enkidu set and Ob drops for PUP imo.

We've heard from SE that the secretive new avatars would be totally different from the current ones so that could mean lower purps, aura effects or whatever - their is still faint hope that they do something to change the dynamic of the job which is what most summoners are looking for. The other half just want a shiny new pet to play with!

I mean who wouldnt want Atomos as an Avatar!?
