Bingbong, Electoral votes aren't based on Senate seats. If you can't do the correct math to figure out why, then you need to shut up and quit posting.

You're wrong, he had it right. The number of electoral votes for any states is the number of senate seats + the number of house seats. DC also gets votes based upon how many the lowest state has (3).

    Obama gets VT (3 votes).

LOL, My stepmother walked in talking to my father today... saying that Obama's birth certificate was called into question and she was talking about how many of the votes him and ACORN have frauded...

They are static because Senate seats all have 2 seats... so senate seats really don't make a difference - only house seats ever change.

That seems to be a popular trend lol. While I was a work today I was talking to some of my co-workers (( All pretty uneducated, mostly HS dropouts and the like)) And they told me that not only was Obama a secret Muslim, but he didn't have a birth certificate and was most likely born in the middle east.

Let's assume for the sake of argument that each state has exactly the same number of people per congressional representative (not even close in actuality but we can save this argument for its own thread in two years when Census time comes).

Then, as an example, a person who lives in a state with one representative has three electors, a person who lives in a state with four representatives has 6 electors (twice as many) for 4x the number of people. That means a person who lives in Montana, say, has a vote that is worth twice as much as a person who lives in Mississippi. It only gets less so as the state's population goes up with their total number of congressional districts.

That's fine, but you called someone out on something that you were wrong about. Next time, I suggest you just stay quiet.

lol, there's some guest on fox news getting boo'd by the anchors right next to him for calling absentee voters cowards

another gem: "if you figure 30% of voters did it through absentee ballots, 29% did it out of convenience" like it's a bad thing. voting should be as inconvenient as possible for all of us folks.

    Umm, they both have 2.
Just like the other 48 states.

I'm losing faith in you Beck.

    READ THE POST....
Senate seats AND House of Rep seats...

Senate = not based on population
    Reps = based on population

Beckwin's point is that it's disproportionate to population, meaning the electoral colleges are too since it factors that in.

I think it was already established that I was wrong about this.

I know all about the Great Compromise, douchebag. Take your victory and sod off.

Fuck I'm tired of this shit.
Colin Powell said it best: even if he is a Muslim (which he isn't), who the fuck cares? What, suddenly it's wrong to be of Muslim faith in this country?
