MSNBC is projecting an Obama win in the Northeastern states all the way, even getting close in IN and winning OH... this could be historical...

Nothing is topping the election of 1984 when Reagan defeated Mondale 525 to 13. Or in 1972 when Nixon defeated McGovern 520 to 17. Or in 1980 when Reagan defeated Carter 489 to 49. Or in 1964 when LBJ defeated Goldwater 486 to 52.

This election wont even be top 15 in terms of landslides.

Yeah, they're just banking on exit polls and polls from the past few days putting obama in the win column by 7-8% for their "call", which I think is ...lame. The only thing the networks learned from Florida in 2000 is that people like projections and they like them early.

Obama is pretty much guaranteed Ohio and FL. The west coast is probably going to determine this one since not all precincts have reported. They haven't really finished calling states for either candidate.

But yea, you heard it at BG first. Obama wins Presidency.
