I conceptually dislike supermajorities but individually I end up supporting the democratic one.

By the way, imagine the lulz if Franken wins. He is good enough, smart enough, and doggone it, let's see if people like him.

Well, it's as Wafik said. If 100,000 people say their vote won't matter, and there's a 60,000 vote difference like in many of these states... 100,000 votes could swing that state pretty easily.

    HOW WILL YOU LIVE THEN?

if your candidate loses the popular vote, but wins the electoral college, who here will want a change in the system?

I sometimes have questioned the point of voting in an uber red state (like Texas where I live), but it's never gonna stop me from voting there. I think the EC system is shit because if my candidate doesn't win my vote goes in the trash can, but whatever.

Kinda crazy that it's even remotely close in Texas now. I figure that's just because all of the piss ant little spots haven't gotten their shit in yet.

Dem majority in the Senate and Obama is lookin' good so far. Gonna be hard for McCain without PA.

    The surprise is overwhelming.

McCain leading by 5,000 in MO... almost 40,000 in IN... 20,000 votes in VA... Obama gaining ground.

I'm looking at some of the results by county here in PA and its pretty shocking to me. I honestly thought it would be pretty close here (Obama winning by about 3%) but it looks like it will be much higher.

What for the recount when more than half of the black vote gets tossed out for being felons.

This is the absolute decline of White America and what we as a people represent. A bigger victory for the Jews now that they've made whites feel so guilty that they'll allow themselves to vote for a negroid. I fear this will be just the start of that new trend and with this trend: the death of the white race.

These are the only things I have to say about election day...

    1. It ain't over till it's over.

    2. IF Obama is elected his actions will only strengthen and grow the WN movement.

    3. IF obama is elected, this country deserves him and everything he will do to it. But when he is gone (Once again, IF he's elected) this country will recover.

    4. (IMO) Whoever is elected is all part of God's master plan (and I believe I know how that turns out in the end. )
    ...
Jesse Jackson just told British television that if Obama can lead the USA, then why can't a black man lead Britain or France!

I would find it funny if I didn't realize how seriously they believe themselves.

I'm so fucking pumped up right now, Obama has significant leads in Ohio, North Carolina, and Florida, all three of which McCain needed to win. On top of it, the major Democratic counties of FL and IN still haven't reported...

Obama's going to win, you guys, oh my God. I may woot so hard I'll go into cardiac arrest.

E: Fivethirtyeight just called Tom Udall winning New Mexico's Senate seat. YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS

Electoral college has out lived its usefulness, I'm down for getting rid of the system right now and letting who takes popular vote (even if McCain wins, I think its shit.)
