Electoral college has out lived its usefulness, I'm down for getting rid of the system right now and letting who takes popular vote (even if McCain wins, I think its shit.)

I kind of agree. The electoral college needs some revising or just needs the boot. It just seems so outdated or misleading.

probably about the same # of conservatives who thought the system was fine when bush won and want it changed now

I'm shocked New Hanover county (Wilmington, NC) voted in majority for Obama. I'm curious what, neighboring Brunswick County, turns out to be because I lived there for over 10 years and its mostly a very republican county.
