Anyone remember 2004 when they started calling states early how that turned out.
McCain has 69? Giggady-goo
Yes, except in 2004 Kerry didn't have nearly as much support as Obama does now. That's not really a valid comparison and it's one of the main reasons CNN isn't calling states without sufficient reason.
Allen County is by far McCain's biggest county going for him in Indiana and it is 81% counted. Another blue county besides the obvious Lake County is Monroe County which is where Bloomington is only has 4% reporting. I have a feeling Indiana will take forever to call because that gap will close as the night goes on.
I really wish I wasn't stuck at work right now, I'd love to see that. I've been watching Fox News a lot the past 2 weeks and hearing all the crazy scenarios they pull out of their ass about how McCain can win has been very entertaining indeed.Fox is great comic relief right now. The sulking is fantastic.
Fuck my state if it goes for McCain seriously. You should see Santa Fe though, almost 98% of the cars have Obama stickers on them. Too bad Santa Fe only has 70k people in it.
VA gap just got closed big time... McCain is leading by only 3,000 votes (about an hour ago he was leading by 30,000).
They were calling Kansas for McCain with only 1% of the polling places reporting.
200-124 on BBC right now, they've got a moustachioed Republican talking head that keeps repeating that Obama's a "far left wing radical" and that America's "fundamentally a centre-right country" as if it's a mantra.
McCain is only leading by 5,000. We have a big hispanic population here and they all support Obama. We'll have to see where it swings but 5,000 vote difference is pretty amazing. Wolf is saying McCain may get KS, MO, VA, and IN and that even if he does win IA he will only get 266 electoral votes at the most.
according to CNN McCain has to win practically EVERYTHING else in order to win lollol
So Obama is at 200, with California, Washington St., and Hawaii that = 270!
In other news, dems are 8 seats away from get a filibuster proof senate.
Don't forget Obama will probably take FL and OR... they said even if McCain takes everything that he can win he still won't win the election without winning a west coast state.
Edit: CO going to Obama, NE and VA very close.
