I'm not black either, I'm Puerto Rican... but this... this is like a victory to minorities everywhere... not only that, it's a victory for the black population.

Anyone who has ever been oppressed or told they couldn't achieve something just won big time tonight.

It's not a surprise, but it is a moment of incredible pride. It is truly about who is leading the country and the direction the country will take, but who Obama is makes this of much, much more significance and extremely meaningful.

The American people as a whole made a choice that shows that we can get past our racism.
