As long as you're in line to vote before 9 PM (Times the Polls Close) you are legally allowed to vote. At least in NY anyways, I don't see why it would be different anywhere else.

I voted early and only had to wait in line 10 minutes (wasn't really a line, they sat me in a chair and called my name when it was my turn).

Only two days later, my sister went to vote and it took her an hour and a half.

I would have voted early, but of course thats not possible because one of the issues we're voting on here in Maryland on today's ballot is an Amendment to the state constitution to repeal an Amendment from a few years back that declared early voting as unconstitutional.

No, no. It's like that this election day too. We're screwed, whomever we vote for, because the Electoral College is still in place, and our top two candidates are One Evil or The Other (tm).

I think the college was a good idea when we had few states... but now it just seems out of place given that some of the smaller states give more electoral votes than others.

couple blocks from downtown minneapolis - i was voter #276. when i got there @650 am the line was exactly one city block long... when i left @9 am, it was 20 feet short of two city blocks long. took me a while because i had to write myself in for all the damn judges individually.

if you can't be bothered to vote in an election THIS important, with everything that's going on right now, you don't even belong in this country imo. get out there and dooooooooooooo eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!
