It almost is weird you all think the likes of Palin is going away. 60 seats in the senate will not be reached, and Palin, Bobby Jindall, Tim Pawlenty, and Mitt Romney aren't going anywhere as they are the future of not only the Republican party, but conservatism on the whole. If this is what Republicans needed to return to conservatism over the center-right stance theyve slowly adopted over the last decade then so be it.

I am fully prepared to be an outspoken member of conservatism in exile, and I will enjoy all 4 (hopefully only 2) years of it.

Congrats to President Elect Barack Obama on a hard fought campaign. This nation is strong enough to survive being him the worst president since Jimmy Carter, and I pray progressive enough (if Obama truthfully pushes some of his better campaign promises) to prosper. I pray we prosper, I worry we fall.
